  9. Gadgets are used on computers and such, for instance post-its and clocks etc. They are quite useful. Hm-hm Gadget is also a tv-show for kids where he fought against his enemy who sat in a chair and stroked his white persian cat. Professor Gadget I think his name was, but I’m not really sure.

  11. He fiddled with the gadget, which was making an odd noise. It resembled something like what a cow would sound like if it gargled seltzer in the ocean with an octopus tentacle shoved down its intestines. Now all I could think about was cows and when he started to bang the thing on the table I decided I should go find a hamburger.

  14. Gadgets are a funny word, containing two “G’s”, making it such a great word to say. The definition of gadgets does not matter, just as long as you don’t have a lisp so that you may say it correctly. Also, I like gadgets.

  20. Gadgets are one of the most admiral yet loathsome things to own. You want one then another and another and another before you know you’re whole house is full to the brim with them. I can’t fathom a world without them yet I yearn for one and that is perhaps why I am still sat at this computer writing what might as well be my own obituary

Gadget are by the far the most useless item I have ever succumbed to but I adore I love them and I would do anything to secure another its like a sherbet lollipop once you’ve had one lick you have to have another otherwise you mouth becomes dry so although by the end you are feeling nothing but agony you carry on regardless.

Distracted, she picked up the gadget and pressed a button to stop the beeping. She smiled as face popped up on the screen. “Garett.” she grinned. He smiled back at her radiantly and just as another was about to attack her head, she dodged quickly. “I love you, Am.” he spoke in his low voice. She grinned and simply continued to fight.

  28. I couldn’t live without it. That’s the sad part. A few weeks ago it broke and I was like a man with out arms, eyes, a tongue or ears. I don’t like being so trapped within the walls of technology.

  33. Harley was the one to rely on for gadgets. She’d gone on a mini rampage through the building when the real trouble started, grabbing anything she thought useful. Compasses, computers, phones, pendants, binoculars, swiss-army knives. Her own little collection of stolen goods, hidden in her room.

  36. Gadgets. A favourite word of bad TV presenters. If there’s nothing to talk about, no thoughts in the head, no feelings in the heart, there are always gadgets. Men like gadgets because they work by pressing buttons. Women don’t work in this way, so men find it difficult dealing with women. Gadgets are liberating to them.

  38. I don’t care about gadgets. My only intention to come to this writing prompt was to tell someone, anyone about how daunting one word can be. I have this page bookmarked so that I could write something about one word, for one minute, for one day, of one month, of one year, of one life. But every day I am too “lazy” to write a one-minute blurb about anything and everything, but preferably in relation to the word that is given to me. Why?
