  1. I sat in the gallery watching the circus..and wondering…who on earth would like to be laughed at…neither me…nor u…nobody probably….but those people out there are acting funny..doing silly things..just to entertain the common multitude to earn a living…to bring smile to their families…

  2. They invited me to the gallery again. They really only want my desserts though… I stopped to envision myself in another new dress, with another new glass of wine in my hand, clinking against my good luck bracelet. Then I looked outside and saw the gallery of twigs being pushed by the new snow.

  16. Once upon a time, I went into a gallery, located in the heart of the city. As I walked by the window, I noticed the most beautiful piece of art, and wondered who created it. The swirls of blue and green were breath-taking. The oranges popped, and made eyes crave more.

  17. A gallery of memory
    A place of the past
    A marker in history
    From first to last
    This place is my memory
    This place, so long gone,
    This place is my memory
    And only my memory
    goes on.

  18. I’ll walk through the gallery of our life. Searching through the hall of memories captured in frames, each moment flattened behind glass that we never knew we’d be stuck behind. And I’ll never forget that moment, when you held my heand, the photogrpaher of life captured it in sepia. Pretty little sepia.

  19. would you tell me who you really want to be? i’m standing in this long hallway in the darkness of this carpet and one shaft of light on paintings that i’m supposed to understand, to like, to stare at. When are you going to open to me the mysterries of the universe. is this really emptiness that is fullness?

  20. An art gallery is a fun place to visit. It is filled with beautiful pictures of imagination. Everyone draws in a different way. I love going to look at art.

  22. The art gallery at the local high school was filled with beautiful projects from the students. It has paintings, oil pastels, and sketches. The parents enjoy looking at them in their free time.

  23. The art gallery on second street is beautiful. I’ve never been in it, because walking by is enough. If I go inside I might be disappointed. Instead I walk past at 9 o’clock every morning, before they open and imagine what hidden wonders might be inside.

    Jessica
  24. The people at the art gallery work hard to set up the fifteenth century exhibit. Artist from all over the world will travel to view the works. There will be sculptures and paintings that are centuries old.

    Sammy Freund
  25. I have never been to a gallery. On TV shows, I see that there are many paintings in galleries. I am guessing that all of those paintings are expensive. I don’t think I would enjoy visiting a gallery. I believe it would be boring.

    Katie Groves
  26. I have always want to go to a gallery. I am talking about an art gallery, or the gallery of skating in San Fransico, Ca. It would be rad to see all the art. Someday maybe I’ll go when Aj Richter gets his work in a gallery. That would be awesome.

    Danny Kay
  27. I really don’t want to write about the word gallery but this website keeps giving the same word, which is gallery. I have nothing to say about a gallery because I have never been to a gallery nor do I care to go to one. I think galleries are where weird people who like to stare at strange paintings.

  28. Everything seems to follow one another. The seasons follow each other right one time to continue an endless circle. Children play follow-the-leader, and follow the examples of their teachers, parents, and peers. Ducklings follow their mother.

  29. I went to the art gallery in France to see the Mona Lisa. It looked better in pictures and on the internet than it did in real life. She didn’t look like a real person, but like a doll or a man wearing lots of makeup. The Mona Lisa looked like a drag queen.

    Christina
  30. Paintings and books lined the walls. It almost felt like walking through an ancient gallery. Face after face of ancestors of Robert greeted my eyes. Book after book in aged binding, beautifully kept as works of art themselves called out to me: “Read us and know thyself!”

  31. Walking down the aisles carefully as to not disturb the others. I glance over the years of history, the years of theirstories, the years of art that’s been look at, not looking as myself, but as humanity, what has everyone else thought of this at first glance… after careful consideration?

  32. He looked down from the gallery onto the people swirling below. Multicolored dots of insects milling around aimlessly on the platform.

    Lykke
  34. wasn’t this yesterday’s word? I thought oneword was supposed to give me a gallery of words. I find myself perplexed by the familiarity. I’m looking for words framed on the wall like pictures…

  35. I LOVE GALLERIES, ESPECIALLY MODERN ART GALLERIES THAT HAVE LOTS OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF MEDIA . mY FAVOURITE IS A GALLERY IN gLASGOW CALLED THE GALLERY OF MODERN ART. oNE PIECE ALWAYS SPRINGS TO MIND WHEN i THING ABOUT THAT PLACE. IT WAS AN EXHIBITION CONCERNING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. THE ENTIRE ROOM, WALLS ,CEILINAG AND ALL WERE CONVERTED INTO A GIANT NEWS PAPER – EVERWHERE I LOOKED THERE WAS ARTICLES AND WORDS ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. IT REALLY MADE ME FEEL CLAUSTROPHOBIC – I WONDER IF THAT WAS THE POINT!

  36. art galleries are fun. also a gallery as in a kitchen on a boat. I want to live on a barge. Gallery kitchen, isn’t it? can’t you get them in houses too? I don’t want to live in a house, I want to live in a boat. Then I can visit art galleries all over britain – well, the ones near canals.

  37. I’ve never been to a real gallery. I think it would be an interesting experience, but I find art a bit intimidating. Art is so abstract, so a gallery just seems like a room full of hidden meanings that others can decipher, and I usually cannot. I’m too logical.

    Stephanie
  38. The walls are white and give me an impression of being all sterile. I keep walking, I’m waiting for the pictures, the paintings, just anything, that would add life to this gallery. Still, I’m doing it silently, I don’t want to get any attention, I don’t want to act weird, I want them to think good about me. No life living.

  39. Shell dreams, again the pinks fading to mauve the ivory the salty taste when I put them on my tongue. They hang down in the doorway, clicking together as we enter the gallery. They cover the surface of a wine bottle and someone has stuck a taper in the mouth.

  40. walking through a gallery takes one through history. the word also makes me think of Mario’s song. currently in class; can’t think of anything creative.
