The arts are the most important devices stemmed from our culture. The arts should not be caged within the walls of stuffy buildings, they should be shared with the world, the weather, eveyone.

A place where you can view things that other people have created and hopefully be inspired to create your own things out of whatever you’ve got in your home. I personally get very depressed when I see people who have done amazing things with just one human brain. I can’t help but feel sad though because that just shows that I’m very self involved and am only thinking of myself and not being happy for the person who has created this wonderful thing. Thanks for making me totally depressed.
sam
gallery just reminds me of a lot of art this old cafe i went to with my dad which was in a gallery drinking coffee being pretentious or being just mindblowingly awe struck by swashes of colour !

gallerys are places. places to display the most wonderful things anyone can find. what if one day we aren’t able to find anything? or more likely what if one day they’re filled with so many wonderful things that no-one bothers paying attention to any of them?
eimear
a art gallery is filled with exciting pieces of art. It is so interesting because every art has it’s own detail. People can walk around and see every exciting detail of an art gallery. Artists can get ideas from art galleries too and that idea could probably sell for 1 million dollars.
Arela
it is a place that houses someone’s imagination

A gallery is a place where people can show what they made or invented. It is a place where people can show what they have done and it might be the beginning of a big career

Noses. Noses EVERYWHERE. Bloody, multicolored noses. Ripped off from people’s faces. Put on a wall. A gallery of noses. How very strange. Very, very, strange. A few ears would complete it.
Octosaur
The gallery echoed with her footsteps, the 20 foot ceiling bouncing the tap, tap, tap of her heels on the stone floor. Enormous paintings, too tall to reflect reality, hung on the walls and she worried they would fall on her as she walked by.

Your face surrounds me
It blocks me in a cage
In a room of mirrors
It takes so many forms
So many emotions
Each on a different medium
Each surrounding me
Caging me into your gallery
It’s who you are
It’s unquoted
Unfavored
Just you, my friend
Erin
The art gallery was a place of beauty, a place where history turns to meet its self in the mirror of everyday.

She crept closer to the edge,
Always closer,
Until one day she slipped.
She feel right into the painted sky,
the lake of oil, and the skin
so pearly white it put heaven to shame

My hands were shaking as I opened the cover of the photo album. I wasn’t prepared when I saw your face smiling back at me peacefully, unaware of your uncertain future. It read like a gallery of pain and memories as I turned page after page, looking into your eyes and searching for a sign of life.
Bailey
I haven’t been to an art gallery in a long time. I suppose it’s because I’m new here and I don’t really know my way around yet. I also lack sophisticated friends. I loved living in San Francisco with all my cultured friends. Now I’m stuck in Texas with conservative morons.
Tiger
The gallery was riddled with the corpses of the investigators. Nearest the door, my foot nudged upon the shattered skull of agent Nye. Shrieking, I nearly fell over.
Pedro Quevedo
One of these days, I would love to display my artwork in a gallery. It’s always been a dream of mine. I want to show the beauty of the world through my photography.
Bernadette
a large space full of breathtaking artwork, and designs – entertaining and enthralling all who enter! a place to lose yourself in.
Gail
It was a hot and humid day as she pulled up her new car to the door of a rather odd looking gallery. More witchy than modern, so she packed up her paintings and went in smiling.
Janet Whitehead
i went to an art gallery once. the tate modern and the tate britain. britain was good – i like the old classics, traditionalist painting that doesn’t just act for actings sake but the modern was dreadful. really pretentious and all the art was for shocks sake not for the sake of art or beauty. like that damien hirst.
Lauz
I glanced toward the ceiling, hoping to be engulfed by it’s unigue slate of white. Facing my mothers painting, I began to cry in the middle of the Gallery. There was so much I missed about her. I needed her, and she needed me. The difference was; I failed her when she needed me most.

Just change ‘show’ or ‘place’ into ‘gallery’ to make it more pompous-sounding. An anti-euphemism.

a place to go. a place to see. to learn. to observe. to walk around to see the mind of another without them there. but they gave permission. they let you take a look into their thoughts. see what you see. make your own judgements, live it up.

She is browsing her aunt’s gallery. It’ full of old painting her aunt made when she was her age. They look so good. She’d buy one,but she doesn’t have money to even buy food.

When I was younger, I never wanted to visit art galleries and had people that wanted to take me. Now that I’m older and want to go, I have no one to go with…

Fantasies of him hang like pictures in a gallery. Vivid, intense, perfect–works of art.

A collection of marbles sitting in a boiling pot may not seem like a gallery to you, but just wait until they start jumping…

She walked through the gallery, looking at all the paintings. It was hard to tell which ones actually meant anything and which ones were actually meaningful.

Versailles, the Glass Gallery, all crystal and gold, polished parquets, richly adorned furniture, and deep windows. Royal, regal, abject in its splendor borne of the starvation of millions.
Taddy
Gallery is normally full of art or something else. Galleries are in Chicago. AHH! I CAN’T THINK!

the gallery was packed Kate was so nervuse today was the day and everything was coming to life. including the painting she found that night.

he turned around to see his favorite painting. It had never been his favorite before, not until he knew it was her favorite. She had overtaken his life, in every nuance and every way, and all that he did was decided by what she would think of him as a result.
Tori
gallery. the gallery was a hair salon by day, showcase for nude paintings, drawings, sculptures tonight. the wine was cheap. the food was horrible. but the company was perfect, the art was beautiful, and that was all she ever needed. the painting reminded her of a renoir.

They went to the gallery that day to see something beautiful, since the world around them had grown dark and ugly. They saw colours and textures but nothing made them feel better about life. They jumped off the balcony.
Brittanie
art, photos, all manner of things on display. A place where all is revealed for the throngs to see. A place of discovery and hiding. Long and striking. Stately and intimidating. Where I first met her and tried to make an impression.
david payne
The gallery was opened at 8 this morning and so many attended that the authorities had to call out the departments in charge of order to restore calm to the situation. In order that the situation would not be repeated, it was decreed that galleries should hencforth call themselves exhibitons, and this was indeed the solution to the problem.
