  4. Reminds me of a song. Because I hear words in clips and phrases, think sick like ginger ale, my time here’s gotten stale. So sing with me in the gasoline fire, really shouldn’t let the days go by you glycerine squire.

(and that’s free word association for you when a lot of downtown radio stations are set to the 90s, and music just so happens to be on the mind.)

  5. it’s this sickly fuel oil problem that makes us the addicted users that we are. it’s black the tar stuck in our lungs and it’s like the 21st century black plague disease come to wipe us out. It’s a damnation, a plague sent by the devil himself to test us. And i belive we have failed the test. We have given in to his sick devices and proven ourselves unworthy.

I don’t even know how to read the gas prices, but I know if I could, I wouldn’t like what they say. I wish I could rent a car and drive from one coast to the next, seeing the Swedish countryside and loving the sun.

  17. it’s a thing that we use to make our cars go it’s really expensive and in high demand everywhere, it smells bad and people inhale it to get high, the US doesn’t have a lot so we use other countries for it and that’s why so many countries are our alies. people take it for granted but it’s going to run out soon and we have to find a different way to use it.

  18. So I doused their papers in gasoline, because they never taught me anything deeper than arithmetic, and grammar. It was waste of time, and an even bigger waste of money. They force us to go, and they give us no choice. It’s never a matter of what you learn, only a matter of how you act. I love to learn, but I hate going to school.

  19. flames encompassed the entire parking lot, the only remaining surviver were the animals watching the catatrophe from afar as the bright light turned the dark night into day.

  21. is an oil that we pump into our cars to make them go. We don’t hear the screams of the families who’s homes were destroyed so we could have that gasoline. We fund the war when we buy gasoline. We don’t fund the arts though. We don’t help out the schools and buy our CDs instead of burning them. We fund the war like it’s more important.

  22. She smiled and flicked the match. We saw his name in the paper, “Trailer Explosion, Man Suspected Dead”. He was a pile of ash somewhere. Perhaps a few teeth and bone. She was known as “The Little Match Girl” for a good reason.

  23. We pulled up the the gas station. There was no one around. He got out to fill the tank; we weren’t even close to getting there. He cursed as he tried to fit the nozzle into the truck, and I just cried. Why wasn’t anyone else there?

  25. The fires reflected in the gasoline lain over the roads. The car lay there, a hunk of metal, silent almost as if it was always there. If a car crashes into a wall, and there’s noone there to see it, could you take it back?

  31. Gasoline. A nonrenewable resource that has caused many disasters. Economic, global, and more. This resource has made people turn into slaves to their cars. I believe we should try to use our car less, and use bikes, or walk as much as we can.

  32. Gasoline. What fuels our modern world. Kills our environment, or so they say. Kills our pockets, or does it make them free? Gasoline is a mean to an end, a way to the places we are going.

    Ashley Kate

  35. “Royal oil, come on bubble and boil…”

I remember sitting at a stop-light in the passenger seat of that beat up 1984 Mazda. My brother turned up Mighty Mighty Bosstones so that it blared out of the crackling speakers and reverberated against our eardrums.

“Stabs like dagger, make you stagger on the hot tin foil…”

The windows were down, (no air conditioning, of course) and cigarettes dangled from our fingers.

“Mind your mind or it will surely spoil, then you sleep down in the soil…”

We were totally content in each others company. The light turned green, and my brother hit the gas pedal.

“Nothing comes from nothing, come on Royal Oil”
