  27. gear is a simplicity of things that evolved over time. you get gear for gear purposes like venturing into gear like systems. I don’t mind gear as much as gear shall mind me for I use it to enhance the possibilities of life.
Gear is like the tool of necessity and yet it is nothing relative at all. It’s the most disturbing idea in the world, gear is like narcissism. You use it to enhance yourself, therefore you are egotistical and a fascist redneck who hates Barack Obama.

And part of me hates him for what he has put my boyfriend through even though, as a person with an ED, I can understand the complusion, the absolute need for and dependance upon something that it destroys rational thought… I hate him. 35. “Hurry up! We’re almost there!” Rosie yelled down at me from rocks above.
“My pack is kinda cutting off my circulation!!” I screamed back enjoying the echoe effect. She ignored me and kept hurling herself up and over rocks completely ignorant of the meant to be path that spiraled toward the top of the mountain.
This wasn’t a real mountain, only half as high. Not tall enough to have snow on the top or anything. Whoa, Rosie was way ahead now. I gave out an exasperated groan that i wish she could’ve heard and started to climb. How did she have so much constant energY!? I startled hurtleing myself over the rocks. It was thrilling! The woosh in my ears was then disdurbed by a grinding, gritting noise. I halted and looked down slowly only to see my feet slide from under me. Smack! A pain errupted in my head. A migrane? I was moving without moving. The rock i was on was sliding down the steep slope. From beside me i felt my gear disappear and i groped aimlessly for it in vain.
“Edmund!!!” The last thing I heard.

  36. Gear’s make the world go round. I can’t imagine getting up a hill or even moving possible without them. Their function is to make work possible by leveraging the size ratio. But it can work either way. Mesh a larger gear and you do less work. A smaller gear and do more work but get X times more work done.

  39. In the end gear didn’t matter as much as other things here, gravity for one. The top of the ship was busted, not irreprable, but not an easy fix either, and somebody was going to have to take a walk on the wilder side of things, the outside, the inhospitable gravity-free zone that never reacts like you want it to, and never fails to disappoint with surprises. If it comes down to just two people, me and someone else, please let luck be with them and send me out, I could use the excitement.
