  4. Why did I go onto this website? LOL. Was looking for info about Kelly Osbourne’s song “One Word”. Well, anyway, geese are okay I suppose, but I prefer swans and ducks. I’m not sure why. It’s probably unfair on the geese not to have a reason. Saying that, though, their “beaks” or “mouths” or whatever freak me out a bit. But they look okay I suppose.

  10. The geese flew across the Canadian plains, their wings wafting in the wind. A strong northbound breeze swayed against the sides of their majestic bodies. I wondered in amazement as hundreds of these beautiful creatures circled in the sky above me. The natural wonder of the scene took my breath away as I breathed in the dream-like setting around me. I gazed into the sunset as the flock flew onward, slowly becoming a blur on the horizon.

  11. Across the gold course. The geese just sit. The rain paused play. So they swarm. They swarm to sit. Are they waiting for water? For food. When they are tiny when will follow their mother. When they are bigger they fly in a V. Who decides who leads? Go south.

  14. Geese are obnoxious little shitters. All they do all day is honk, hiss, and shit. They leave grey piles of shit all over the place. What are geese even good for? They aren’t cute, like ducks. YOu can’t keep them as pets. All they do is eat, and hiss at you, and shit. I heard about somebody getting bitten by a goose, once. That sucks. It must hurt, too. They have pretty nasty beaks….

  21. From my experience, geese are very territorial. But as Humans we are too. People are territorial about property, goods, and even other people. By now, saying we have evolved past other species why do we share a common characteristic as a goose?

  24. There is nothing more beautiful and serene than watching a flock of geese as they fly across a winter sky. The form is a perfect example of God’s perfect design.

  25. Ben didn’t think it was funny. More than that, Ben didn’t think it was much of anything — funny, unusual, questionable. Anything at all. In fact, his only reaction to the gaggle of geese staring at him before the small spaceship was to look down at where one of the landing spokes had pierced his sandwich.

    Ciara
  26. flock to a lifeless body washed up on the shore. only they know him in the last flash of what used to be his life. soundless, sightless, peaceful.

  27. I looked at the geese across the bridge and down to my puppy. She hadn’t noticed them yet, but she was walking along with her nose touching the ground. So many interesting smells! I wondered what she was thinking about. Perhaps there were remnant smells of a toad crossing the road. The geese were oblivious to our presence. I turned her in that direction. We would have a good dinner that night.
