“Clara, what’s going on?” said Michael, unable to believe his eyes. “Clara?”
She could not hear him. Her presence was strictly physical; her mind was somewhere else. This could be why she seemed unaware that she was floating just above ground, or that she seemed ignorant to the fact that she was emitting a bright light.
“Clara, please,” Michael pleaded, “open your eyes!”
He tried to approach her, but the flickering light, like a brilliant, white flame, kept him back and forced him to shield his own eyes.
She was glowing as she walked into the room that day. Her face was practically golden. She didn’t know what was coming next, but she knew she could handle it. She knew she could handle anything life threw at her. Life was about to test that theory.

GLowing green white. She held the firefly in her open hand smiling down at it; its glow lit up her face in a soft green light. She looked so old and so childlike at the same time.
That glow, let it glow, let it smolder.

The glow in the woods grew brighter until Sasha could no longer bear standing near the edge. She grabbed onto Misha’s arm and pulled him off the path.
“Hey, what gives?” he whined.
“We’ve got to get in there. Mum’s waiting for us.”
“ARE YOU KIDDING? THAT THING IS GOING TO KILL US, AND YOU WANT TO GO IN?”
“Would you rather go home without getting the pie?”
This is the cheeks of a bride, a winner, the person on the podium, the flourescent fish in the ocean, the color yellow at night lit from underneath and it has the word low in it and it’s happening but mostly it’s just something about a color that cannot quite be pinned down, a quality that seems warm but probably an Alaskan village at night could also be glowing.

She had a look on her face that said more than any word or sentence could describe. It was pure bliss, true happiness, and sh had this aura of amazement. The light was inside of her tonight, you see. She had sucked up the sun, and was now the reason my whole world revolved. My girl.

We’ve lost that glow, the spark that makes us. We’ve given our glow to the blue LED lights that cut through the darkness, in our darkness we pay homage to these false idols.

Fireflies. Summertime. She’s running around, trying to catch fireflies. Like we’re little kids. That’s how she makes me feel. And these little bugs, there one second and gone the next. Shiny, beautiful little bursts of light. She’s my burst of light. And like those summer night bugs, she’s always coming back.
The object in my line of sight was glowing with a radiance I had seen since the Virgin Mary knocked on my door selling Avon products. I was speechless with wonder.

I buff and polish and purchase more shit to rub into my skin and they just breeze by with their youth and vigor. Their cheeks radiating joy, sex, innocence, health; glowing with hope untarnished by reality.
there she was, looking up at me with those eyes. light misted around the windows, as though brought there by a kind of haze. i could remember her eyes but not her face. why was that? every other detail, down to the length of each fingernail, perfect and complete. but her face was somehow, lost to me.
outside, it had begun to rain. i loved how it did that, light sifting gently through the flowing droplets, cleaning everything out as though it could somehow cleanse us.

One day, my skin may glow like the teeth of a lion in Africa at sunset. Raindrop in a street of Rome tomorrow at dawn – wake up!
I think that a lot of things can glow. It can be a pregnant woman, a candle, a lamp, a sunset, a simply happy kid. But glowing means something visual, at the same time as something that indicates a feeling. it brings together feeling and vision.

Her hair was shining in the sun and her skin was glowing. She radiated life and he thought he was looking at an angel. She was no angel but her sweet smile captivated him in such a way that he could hardly breath.
What was her name? he wondered.

She walked into the room; there was something unnerving about her- something that made everyone stop breathing. Her smile that night could stop an army of a thousand men in their tracks. So many other women had a night to call their own. Tonight was hers. Tonight, she had every right to be radiant.

She was worried when he said she was looking exceptionally glowing. She put her hand on her stomach to try and calm herself down. He would leave if she told him. And she didn’t know what to do about that. But at least, she didn’t have to do anything about it…yet.
The glow from the candle was the only light in the room as the seventeen-year-old closed the door behind her, setting down at the desk in the corner with the candle on it. The cabin that she lived in with her parents, with her family, was a great comfort to her, and it was always her escape from the rest of society, if only for a little while.
This orb over my body hangs by threadless thread. Returning into me at the apex. Am I suddenly Iron Man in my suit of gold and hot rod red? No. Simply radiating warmth and a sense of self deeper than my conscious mind knows, I stand up and move on with my day.

The glowing feeling inside of her was the only thing keeping her going through her dark life at this point now. She knew he’d see her again, and until that point, until they could see each other again, the glowing feeling, the light in her heart, would have to keep her going. It was all she had anymore, besides her job. She didn’t mind it, though.
glowing – in the dark, maybe. Like fireflies. I saw fireflies once, with the Maori in New Zealand, which is as wonderful as it sounds. they were like little dancing lights in the dark – and it was just magic! or it can mean sweaty. But fireflies are much more romantic.
