He was sure that it was too late for the class, and as he saw the regulars drifting out of the front door, he was convinced. He turned. “Excuse me,” she said, as she brushed past. There she was, the gorgeous girl who he came for. This was their gym. Late or not, he followed. Three hours later, they each had their last first date.
i wish i had the discipline to go the gym more often as i know it would have a tremendous benefit to my physical health. even now when i do exercise, i can feel the effects almost instantly. and i can see results within a few days without even really trying. hopefully i will be able to develop the desire to work out harder relatively as i do not want to enter my 30’s out of shape and overweight.
I used to go to the gym three times a week, but then it got to the point where I valued sleep and homework and stress to get in the way of that. It’s kind of funny, honestly, because the reason I started working out to begin with was to be able to sleep better, but mostly I just laid awake and called it “sleeping.” I wasn’t really awake and I wasn’t really living.

Sweaty, glandular, obnoxious, must have, place of intense embarassment or great feats, girls nightmare, boys wonderland, it’s okay for most, hell for some, not really into it at all, but liked it when I was young. Drama club held in gym, back to work, need for plays, stage in gym, can’t get gym, sports suck. We are a force to be reckoned with, don’t ignore us, you will hear us. Catchall for sports, bodies, sweat, junk, trash, dust, brooms, teams, audiences, parents cheering, parents yelling, parents crying. I guess that’s all. Except for the ropes, I could never climb the ropes, no upper body strenght AT ALL!!!

I stood outside the door, watching the animals being separated from the men, all in the name of dodgeball.
Last night I went to the gym to work out. It is always such a slog to drag my carcass that one mile but I always feel so envigorated on that walk back. I am not sure whether it is because of the endorphins I’ve released while exercising or whether it is the elation of having conquered the gravity of inertia that so often prevents me from getting there. Maybe it is a bit of both.

The most frightening place on this campus. Your supposed to be able to go there to better yourself but everyone there is already so intimidatingly beautiful. It feels like a constant competition that I just didn’t sign up for.

I once had a gym membership. The card took up space in my wallet. It was undertaken with the absolute best of intentions, but it’s easy to lose your motivation when you’re working twelve hours a day and sleeping four. Chalk it up to a life lesson learned, I suppose.
Gym is for weirdos, surely not for someone like me? machines are trap, part of Dante’s Inferno set up….Which circle I am at? I really do not know….But I know I am in hell, I see the flames, I am burning…in hell….

Jim went to the gym. Funny, but Harry wasn’t all that… well, you get the idea.
