Habitat for humanity, a group of people building houses for others. A way for people to feel like they’re making a difference, which they are. Yet, I still haven’t built anyone a house. Maybe I’m selfish.

We all seem to create our own habitats based upon what we perceive to be important to us. Think about it, we surround ourselves with people who mean something to us and it all goes into creating a habitat that you surround yourself with…whether this habitat is positive or negative is up to the choices that you make.

You’d think that after a while, you would get sick of the same place. It gets boring living in one place for so long; the same people, same places, same things to do. But when it comes time to leave, you realize that the place you’ve lived all your life is actually a pretty hard thing to give up..

Habitat. So important to preserve it so the wildlife can thrive. Too many natural habitats have been lost already causing the disappearance of too many species of wildlife.

Any place could be transformed into a suitable habitat for anyone or anything; in the end everything is transformed, changed to whatever the environment needs it to be.

I was in my natural habitat. Stepping off the subway, I looked around at the sea of people rushing around frenetically. Taking a deep breath of the city’s automobile smog, I smiled and walked forward into the fray. I was home.

the habitat of many animals is currently being analyzed as a part of the system that should be viewed impartiality without biased sympathy towards animal “feelings” or human sentimentality for the survival of other things.

So often, we talk about a creature’s habitat without thinking about our own. In my classroom (as in my life), I try to think with my students about what our environment forces us to adjust to and how we manipulate that environment.

i think if bunnies when i think of habitat,. bunnies live in cute little dens with fur and baby bunnies. I also thin of how in children’s books they show you the cut away showing what a bunny den would look like under ground. in the pictures they always show it like 2 inches from the surface, this cannot be as i could easily dig up a bunny den and have little fluffs of my own. i like this idea!

I live in a place that I call my own. It is personal, it is mine. I am only comfortable when I am in this location; my habitat. When I leave this place, my comfort zone, I am unsure and uneasy. It is the environment in which I prosper.

What is a person’s habitat? How do they define it?
Mine is usually a little bit messy. It’s clutter that I’ve come to love, with books and notebooks and sketchbooks strewn all over the place. Sometimes the occasional stuffed animal joins the mix.
But what of an animal’s habitat? Doesn’t it contain the same exact things? Things that they’ve come to love?
Why do we destroy the things that some or something else loves?
