the headband stretched across her fantastically large head, making her forehead pulse under the pressure of the flimsy elastic. “are you going to read your story, Mary?” but it was too late. the blood flow had lessened, and was in such short supply she fainted.

Lucy adjusted her headband as she stood up to speak. Slowly, she walked to the front of the room, her heartbeat thudding with every step. This had to be the worst moment of her life. It had to be.

Back in highschool my first band was going to be called the WHITEHEADBAND because one of the member’s last names is whitehead, and so we thought it was funny. Eventually we became Even Distribution, but then we broke up a week after we got the stickers to give out to everybody.

I wore headbands on my head when I was a little girl, back when I didn’t have so much on my mind, and I couldn’t feel how binding and tight they were. I don’t think I could stand one now. Too much junk going on up under it for that kind of constriction these days….
theamarie
dumb ass girls chillen with stuff on their heads that really are not necessary. However, I do prefer headbands to pony tails, those are even worse. God damn, idk.

her headband was beaded and i thought she was a dork. who woulda thought she’d become some famous writer. she certainly didn’t seem like one in high school. makes a girl wonder what it takes to make writers out of headband wearers.
becca Loo
She was wearing a headband. She always did. It made her feel girly, and gave her a sense of self, even though realistically how could it? No one had to know, it was just a given. She had 100 different hairbands. All colours, blue, red, gold.

My best friend loves it when I wear a headband. I’m not quite sure why, but sometimes I wear one just to make him smile. For me it’s just a way to keep my hair out of my face, but for him it’s something else…I guess it looks good. Who really knows? Aside from him of course.

headband in her hair blondeness blowing EVERYWHERE wow. fascinating wind like pocahantes. pcahantes is my favorite, her blows like no other in artful sections. mine just sticks to my eyebrow ring and my soakig wet forehead. awesome.
sunshine face.
I love headbands because they instantly can make my hair look 60’s inspired. That is when I wear my hair down with a tight headband, usually a simple black or beige color. I also wear headbands to play sports. It keeps the fly-away away.

The child took the headband from her mother, and looked at it silently. Her face betrayed no emotion but curiosity, and her mother, just as quietly, took it from her daughter and placed it gently around her head. “This was your father’s,” she said simply, “He would have wanted you to have it.”

the last time i wore a headband i was 17. it was exam results time and gary dickson head gone an pimpernel red thanks to the deceptive wind chill of the med coast. the handsome swedes by the poolside

oh ya my headband is green. I used it in ninth grade playing BALLS with the boys. I was a feared player and slayer of all competition across the net. I miss those days. I miss my friend. I miss my headband.

i use it when i sweat it protects my eyes hard to use these days because of the more than one meaning gang signs and colors ruins the true meaning of them they have them in many colors and sizes.

my daughter wears her headband/bandana proudly on that special day – special because it allows students to be free of the usual constraints that come with wearing a uniform. But special moreso because it makes her generation think about others than themselves – for a change.

the last time i wore a head band i was 17. its was the year of exam results and gary dickson had gone a magical lobster red. thanks to the deceptive wind chill on the med coast. for the handsome swedes by the poolside (allegedly smll genitalia too a man) headband were the rage. sometimes not only one sufficed. but why two headbands? to compensate for worryingly petite bawbags? who knows. but once you sick ur slick head above that dangers plural headband parapit there aint no goin back. u wer and always will be in my eyes at least a complete and utter swedish tit. if it wasnt for henrik larsson… well lets just say i wouldnt like u at all.

I wear it on my head. The elastic ones never stay on my head though, because my head is so round. The other ones, the hard ones, hurt my head very badly. So either way, headband are bad.

She pulled her hair through her headband, it had been months since she had a decent shower or even a bath. The days of riding through the desert on a camel was sytarting to get to her in this cold desert. Of course, at night there are few things to continue doing then

Stupid headband.
Cuts into the sides of my forehead, pinches at me all day and gives me a headache.
Why do we wear these things anyway?
Mine needs to be softer and less elastic.
Nykki Stenger
her headband made me want to touch her. I know that sounds weird but it was just poised so perfectly in her coifed hair and it matched so well…well she was obviously perfect. Here I was imagining throwing everything away and letting her put her hands places they shouldn’t go just because of that perfection. Don’t judge, they said.

It blocks the hair, collecting sweat. Furthermore, it looks garish-a wide amount of color that could be blood.
I don’t like them-headbands.

Ah headband. The memories of my childhood. Keep that hair out of your face, says my mother. She cries when I cut it all off. I still wear the headbands. I like them, matching the colors with my clothes. Usually tossed to the side when the skin behind my ears starts to hurt.

girls wear headbands to keep their hair in place or something. it reminds me of the 80’s for some reason. that loading bar is kinda snazzy. headband written in pink mighta fueled my association of it with girls. loading bar is on red!!!! D=

Did you know that one thing might split in two if you tie the knot too hard? Sometimes the bent and broken, the words unspoken, cannot be undone.

headbands go on you head. they can come in many different colors. i think that headbands were originated in the 60s and 70s by hippies. not quite sure though. headbands are coming back into fashion whetther they be big or small head bands go for all

The ubiquitous headband is used for many purposes – to keep sweat out of the eyes, to provide comfort to the wearer to know that their head is still attached, or to look cool in mixed company – from the 70’s, that is. The headband cannot be used for – tying up the opposite sex or for using as a rubberband to flip across the room.

headbands are fashionable, yet annoying. they can hurt your head at times depending ont he items they are made out of. i personally dont wear headbands any more due to this reason, and also because i wear glasses. the strain fromt he headband makes it uncomfortable to wear both at the same time. i really like fabric headbands because they eliminate the pain cause by plastic ones.

The headband was made of silver, and inset with a bright purple gemstone. It had always sat on the dresser top, waiting to be placed atop of her head, waiting until she had accepted her place in life and set to follow it. She had always looked forward to the day, until she had met him. He had made her hate the headband more than she ever though possible.

Red cloth circled her head, leaving a bare crown of gold hair exposed to the sun. Sweat beaded against the cloth, resting on the edge until, slowly, it was absorbed.
