  1. If he xcould just make it up the hill, he could see his homeland once again. But he felt too weak crawling across the bloodied grass. He struggled to move his arms and force himself up. His breathing became heavy. He clenched his fists around a patch of grass and cried out.

  7. hills are round and beautiful to look at. a valley of green hills in the sunshine is kind of a heavenly image, a utopia. you can wear yourself out rolling down them, or find some clarity in lying on them, facing the world.

  8. We fell. We rolled and we fell. What else is there for us to do about it? We loved. It’s been a long time since then, but we loved. I wish we loved the way we did back then, back when falling off a hill still meant something. It’s a shame it’s always cloudy here now. I’d feel a lot better about things if the weather didn’t know what happened to us, but even the sky knows how disappointed we are. We have come a long way, haven’t we?

  9. On a crescent hill, one shape looms..a hill, we as children rolled down upon. giggling all the way down. :)

  10. On top of a hill sat a decent and tidy little village. The events the day before set a legend to be told for years to come. A man made of steel flying on a broom managed to do deeds of great infamy. Yet he disappeared as quickly as he arrived.

  11. Over the rolling hills,
    With clouds that softly kiss,
    The very top,
    You and I lie together.

    Over the rolling hills,
Where the breeze ruffles the grass,
    Lie you and I,
    In the waving array.

    Over the rolling hills,
    Lie you and I,
    Happily together,
    Never to say goodbye.

  14. you can go up or you can go down, a hill is a win loose situation. Once you climb the hill you can always fall back down, you have to find the perfect balance at the top of the hill if you want to succeed in life. That’s what a hill is a success in one person’s life. Balance.

  15. Professor Hill, GeneD Professer at WSU. He was hilarious, and made a normally boring req class into a riot of laughs. How else could I remember that Jesuits were considered the Storm Troopers of Cathoicism, or that Brits were of their rockers because old women believe that curry and tea are parts of Britiish Culture when in reality they were an absorprtion from the demand of India?

  16. there was a hill that dragons felw off of and they danced all crazy, it was nuts. Man dragons are awesome. Don’t you agree. Put that cat poop in your mouth.

  17. it’s a battle reaching the summit. but does a hill even have a summit? is it even high enough?why attempt to climb, to shove your bike up anything if at the top there’s no view to admire, no steep slope to slide down on, no pedals to let go of?

  18. I’ve written this word already.

  19. they roll around,
    lazy
    and
    tired,
    petite mountains
    left among suburbia
breaking the bond between the woods

    cement forests
    cities.

  20. Mound of grass normally reaches vertically and can touch the sky. Many people sit on it and laugh. Some people fall off it. Children roll down it. Flowers blow on it in the wind.
Walking up hills can make you breathless, which can help fight heart disease. Hills are Rio, Rio is hills. They are topographical and geographical.

  21. Rachel never really liked biking to begin with, and even less so when she’d moved into the old Pratchett mansion. Not only was the driveway gravel and pitted, but it was the world’s steepest and most dangerous hill to climb. Biking it was even worse. She foresaw death every time she rode it.

  22. I was at the top of the hill smoking a cigar, when my girlfriend came and kicked me in the nuts , just calling me a stupid punkass motherfucker. I got up went to my car and proceeded in drinking every piece of liquor I found. 2 bottles of scotch later I turned on the car and drove myself of a cliff.

  23. it was my hill to die on. i believed so much in my cause that i was never going to back down. there was not one thing that could be done or said to change my mind. that’s how you get when you are passionate about your beliefs, you will defend to the death.

  24. the hill was bedazzled and high, with its own past and history. it knew nothing more than the noble people who had walked on it, and rolled down it for the past centuries. and as far as anyone else was concerned, that was all it would ever know. but i, i knew differently.

    Danielle Choate
  25. on a hill over a mountain there were two birds that sang the same songs twice each day. once i felt the wind on my face i had to climb the hill to see the birds who sang the same songs every day. i came to the hill and they were gone, they had flown away. i walked back down the hill and down the mountain and the next day was Tuesday.

I live on a hill, a rather steep one that eats cars. People never believe us when whe tell them not to drive up it in the snow. They think, aw, I can do it. But seriously, we pull cars out of the ditch contstantly in the winter.

  29. Drunk on Dragon Hill tonight,
    the banished immortal, Great White,

    turns among yellow flowers,
    his smile wide,

as his hat sails away on the wind
and he dances away in the moonlight.

  30. A lot of things happened on that hill. Some of them I want to remember, and some of them I’d rather forget. But when you and I were on that hill, it seemed like nothing else mattered. Now you are gone, and I am gone, and that hill will always be.

    Maria
  31. I tried to climb up after you but I would only slide back down again. I wanted to follow you anywhere but a hill to you seemed a mountain through my little eyes. As I struggled behind you never offered me a hand and before I knew it you were just a shrinking dot on the horizon and I realized I would never catch up.

  34. I’m on a hill right now, a plateau of sorts. I have no friends, but my life is continuing. I still work two jobs and go to two schools. I still have my dreams and I’ll still achieve them. It’s just disheartening to know that I’m doing all of this without anyone to share my joy with. I miss my friends and my boy. I love you.

  35. sloping down hard to walk up, gets that burn in your legs. its a pain in the ass if you’re trying to take a romantic little walk and then all of sudden you’ve got this thing in front of you, and you’re tired and sweaty afterwards it’s irritating as hell. It’s nice though to get to the top and just be able to look down at the road in front of you, easier than climbing a mountain.

    Eli Todd
  36. i want to live in a hill. I want to smoke cannabis and live in it in seclusion. Im afraid that is my life’s secret ambition. Am i Normal? Is the road to happiness(sp?) so simple? Maybe… I hope so. ridicule is lonely and frustrating.

  38. i sat on the hill still damp from the dew and pondered my existence. this hill was once a mountain perhaps, a tall and proud rock beat down by time and weather. made to sit low and obedient for passers by to rest upon. doing nothing more, nothing less, just a hill.

  39. I ran up the hill, skirts billowing around me. Jack was waiting there after all. He always was. Every day after classes he would sit at the top of the hill, waiting and watching the clouds go by. It was nice to know someone was waiting for me.

  40. I stood on the top of the hill and it was like those jokes about saskatechwan; I could probably watch a dog run away for three days. the view was endless, or so it seemed.
