  1. The intersection of creativity and business is becoming ever more critical. Being a person who has one foot in each world is the wave of the future. Just look at me — I work in art museums but love all thigns business — leadership development, finance, marketing, and strategy. Businesses which cannot be creative, and creatives who cannot do business will not be viable in the years to come. We need to be multidimensional.

  2. i don’t really remember ever being at a crossroads. people say that decision making is always so hard, but for me the choice is generally clear. the way i get stopped up is that i’m a people pleaser. i mean, look at me. i never told my parents i wanted to major in musical theatre because i was afraid of what they would think. i’m always so afraid of judgement. but i know in my heart what’s best for me. sure, at times i have fears and doubts and i think sometimes i want to go back and turn left instead of right – but don’t we all?

  3. at the corner of have to and ought to lies our lives. We live in a state of wanting one thing and having to live with another. How to we cross this place into the life we want to live. How do we continue one our way without stumbling at every turn?

    Daryn Pobanz
  4. The intersection was busier than Grace had ever seen it. She stood at the corner, waiting for the traffic to clear up as the sun beat down on her shoulders. Her watch said it was 4:30, only ten minutes until her interview, and she still had a fifteen- minute walk to the accounting office. If the light didn’t turn red soon, she would be more than a little late.

  5. car accidents! stop lights, stop sign, pedestrians, and other stuff. skid marks, and paint! four way stop. confusing. vd

    Daisy Roca
  8. no thinking but thinking maybe help you unless you do too much of it. there’s one coming up but the only thing different about it is that i know of that one, they”re really everywhere all the time. car crash lights cross walks or no cross walks to help you

  9. He looked at the crossroads. I was a simple one. Just two intersecting roads, one going one way, the other going somewhere completely different. He had no idea where to go. “Go forward,” whispered the wind.

    Glenda
  10. You sit and you wait
    too many thoughts
    too many people
    All sitting in cars

At the intersection with too many choices
    Too many decisions
    Too many ways
    Too little time

  11. cars have to stop at them when the light is red. if the light is green they have the right to drive. intersections consist of three color laights to direct trafic. yellow which means to slow down, but to many people it means to go faster. green which means to go and red to stop. many accidents occur in the middle of them. i personally hate them. they are a waste of time. they take so long to turn from red to green. what would happen if someone were dying and they came upon a red light?

  12. Green light, red light
I see you and /him/ in the late night
    underneath the street light
    To my left.

    And for one brief second
    Everyday in May
    Our lives intersect
perfect geometry; in an imperfect world.

  13. I was there, turning right at my green light, and then you drove straight through. You crashed into the side of my car, and, while I was still reeling and gasping for breath, you swerved away and turned down a side street. You never came back. Do you know what that does to someone? Do you know how much faith you lose in humanity when you wake up and discover that someone has left you, never even registering that you might be dying on a road in the middle of nowhere?
I’m so much less immortal now.

  14. Intersection

  15. The intersection was crowded with SUVs, all filled with suburban mothers and little boys overloaded with sports equipment. The lights changed, and with it, the release of the tension, the small corner of the world was free.

    Nick McKelvie
  16. a word americans use when an english person would use “crossroads”. it’s also the point at which two points converge. it maybe sounds like a surgical procedure performed during childbirth.

    Jason Taylor
  17. I just needed one more thing, one more tincy wincy thing and I would have been all set for tomorrows interview. I headed off to get that item then suddenly CRASH!! A drunk driver ran a red light and hit my car head on. I really miss that old cavalier, being able to walk properly, and having a job: things that were all taken from me on that lonely, depressing intersection.

  18. intersections are places where two lines meet and cross each other. this could be a plus sign (+) or a redlight, or a stopsign. wrecks often happen at intersections. this is hard. I cant think of anything to write. ahhhh times almost up!!! noooooo ahhhhhh D:

  22. He didn’t like to allow his t’s and x’s to completely cross, and this frequently slowed him down. He wanted space between the lines, a moment of lightness, a pregnant breath, a strange freedom that never really mattered in the end.

  23. Intersection, a place all drivers seem to face one day or another. Some frustrated, others taking in the advantage of having time to focus on other things rather than just the road. A time to put it all out and either sulk withing one’s mind or simply let loose. Even if it for a couple seconds.

  24. i was sitting at the intersection today and singing along to my radio and I wondered to myself, as i have before, whether or not the person next to me noticed. I had always thought it would be the most romantic thing in the world if a couple fell in love at an intersection like that, but if you really think about it, it would just be kind of creepy.

    Katie Kennedy
  25. one word, one word can mean a lot, like love, hate, fear, truth, honesty, and many more. one word can hurt someone, make someone, or kill someone. one word, isnt just “one word” , one word, could mean SO MUCH MORE, than a thousand words could.

    kellan
  26. crossing between lives, cars, and people in them. Section of the road where people meet in strange places. Think fast , life flies by.

    Joseph Cobbs

  29. the car stopped. GO. this is the intersection of right and wrong (right and left) — the traffic lights are swerving, we don’t know who is meant to go now, we trudge forward, we lurch, we crash. we didn’t intersect harmoniously. we met. our fates met.

    alithea
  30. they cross and people meet. they stop and ponder…maybe, maybe not; a place of convergence and a place to see different direction, opposing connections. they are the best places to be.

    henry fremin
  31. It seems we’re coming to an intersection; well you are, physically at least. Between the point of communication to the point of non communication, and it is time for you to decide, physically speaking. I shall wait here, in hopes to hear you beckon. Physically. Naturally, if you do call me, at this particular intersection, we shall be united.

    Metaphorically speaking, of course.

  32. where streets have no names. That was U2 song that I enjoyed listening when I was a young rebel man. I stil like it.

  34. there is an intersection of cars at that one stop sign. a lot has happened at that one stop sign. murders, rape, who knows what else. all i know is that i don’t like that intersection, its full of bad people, and bad stuff to do. my house is right next to that intersection. but no one knows me. no one in this world.

  35. one day at an intersection i almost got hit by a car. it was a vyer scarey experience that i will tell you about now. there was one car that was coming toward me. it had its blinker on so i thought that i could go anyways since i wouldnt get hit by it. but there was a nother car hiding behind it and so i almost got hit by that caar, this probably doesnt make any sense.

  36. Crossroads is the more elegant word. Intersection has something mechanical, something that blinks red and green and yellow. The car lights turned on, blinking at each other across a four-square of no-mans land.

    Val
  37. – Well, excuse me, is there anything that we both like? Seems our lives and likes are millions of light years away, no intersections between them…. And yet, why do you keep coming back to me?
    She asked.
He shook his head and smiled.

  38. the intersection
    between
    my youth
    and adulthood
    i am there right now
on the verge of being independent
while parting from what i believed to be independent
    independent of self
    of mind
    of spirit
    and now
    physically
i will pass through the intersection
    and continue on
    until i pass another
    which will come
    before i am ready
    before i even realize

  39. Let’s move in a different direction.
Quick, move, crash in the intersection.
    Whiplash brings thunder,
    rain clouds drown my mind.
    Wondering the scrambled thoughts
    that spell out nonsensical feelings
which were hidden for so long.

  40. Between the bottom-most ribs and my guts, open for all to see.

There is the careful maneuvering of the knife, very purposeful, very tender. I almost feel embarrassed, but since it’s just you I suppose it’s alright.

It’s quite warm, thank you for turning on the AC. I am so comfortable.
