  2. Isn’t it funny how every word given can pertain to love? Not necessarily always in a positive way, but still. Love is love. And love is a cliche. Just like “You make my legs turn into jelly.”

  3. so jelly is a magical thing. It’s a companion, but it can stand on its own on a shelf, with a plethora of different kinds, as well as jams and other confitures. That’s a French word. Oh well. Jelly, I’ve come to find, is easier to handle than marmalade, but once given a chance, it’s a lovely friend to honey and peanut butter. BOTH. Absolutely both.

  4. A peanut butter sandwich is only a true peanut butter sandwich if it has jelly on it. I have fond memories of watching my mom and grandma making sand plum jelly after p icking them. Then, we would enjoy it on a biscuit or pbj sandwich.

  5. I like jelly with peanut butter and fritos on bread. Best pb&j sammie EVER!!

  6. When I was little, I used to pack jelly in my lunch. Only the cherry kind though. I didn’t much care for the others. Actually, I think I bought some jello not too long ago. Its probably in the fridge, not being eaten because I just now remembered it. Hm.

  7. Peanut butter jelly time! Jelly… is super sticky and wayy too sweet. I love the song hate the actual stuff. Just having it in close proximity to your body means automatic stickiness. It does NOT matter how careful one may be you will be jelli-fied and definitely sticky. The worse part is when you try really hard not to get stuck and then you think you’ve finally succeeded, only to find that it got caught on your sleeve a few hours later.. UGH.

  8. Jelly makes me think about when I make Daphne breakfast and how much of a mess she makes when she is eating toast with jelly. We prefer to get the jelly that is “just fruit” or “simply fruit” or whatever it’s called. The last time we bought some, it was blueberry jelly and it was so good. I’m not usually a jelly fan, but this stuff was delicious. It has real blueberries in it and everything. Mmmm jelly.
That makes me wonder what I am going to make her for breakfast tomorrow. I think I want to have a nice, fun day with her tomorrow.

  9. I love jelly because it reminds me of kelly. kelly is cool. kelly is cute. kelly is smelly. kelly loves me? I love her..she is my soul mate.

  10. There once was a puppy who fell in a pile of jelly
He rolled around and around in it, til it got all over his belly
His owner was mad that he made such a mess
the puppy didn’t understand why he was so upset.
He was sent to sleep outside in his tiny dog house that night
the puppy was then sad … ok.

  11. “I told her to stop throwing it but no one ever listens to me” he said. The police office looked at the bloody crime scene around him. 12 bodies. 12. And this fucker was the only one left… and he had the nerve to make up this story about jelly.

  14. I can’t think of a greater midday snack then a PBJ with milk. Yum. There’s something about this delectable food that makes me think back to the innocence of my childhood. It’s amazing to me to think that I can go out with client’s and spend hundreds of dollars on a meal, and one meal later enjoy this old time snack. It’s priceless.

  15. jelly is wonderful. a pink substance in a jar. beautiful. beautiful said the girl. Jelly is beautiful. She thought about the days it would too warm out side, and how the skies remind her of raspberry jam.

  16. What’s the difference between jelly and jam? I can’t jelly my dick up a girl’s ass. That’s all i have to say about that.

  17. Her heart was pounding so hard. She was afraid that she would faint, as her legs were turning as soft as jelly. She blinked her eyes once again, hoping that this wasn’t a dream.

  18. I love Apple jelly, but not grape. I don’t like anything grape anyways, but apple is best. It taste really good with penutbutter, like they were made for each other. Like they’re long lost soul mates, that are just destined, and grape jelly is getting in the way of apple jelly’s love for penutbutter, like its a jealous ex best friend or something. :

  23. My life is like jelly. It used to be a big happy fruit, but then some people came along and decided that if they mashed it up into little pieces, they might like it better. They were wrong. And now im just jelly, all smashed up and dead.

  24. Why is it that every time I see you, my legs turn to jelly? I’m not weak. I’ve spent four years of my life running, running, running, practicing to make sure my legs are anything but weak. Yet one smile and my legs turn back to quivering, useless, weak jelly. I don’t know how to train for this.
Oh well. At least you provide sweetness in my life.

  27. I like to eat Jell-o. I used to think I was allergic to it because once when I was like 5 I got a stomach ache after eating a ton of it. I really like strawberry jelly, it’s my favorite, but I’ve always been very curious about blackberry jelly, but I’ve never had the motivation to try it.

    Melissa R Rushing
  28. I used to love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I used to be a kid too. I’m afraid of eating jelly now because I don’t want to be fat, but the fact that I think this immediately makes me sad. The troubles and problems that develop with age are a part of human life, which again makes me sad. Good purpose for the human life: sadness?

  29. strawberry is the best, i think. i especially like to homemake jam. with my mum. it just is such an amazing time spent with her that is the most natural i feel with her. i wish that our relationship was always that way. strawberry jam brings us together. isn’t that strange? to some, i suppose.

  32. Jam, purple, peanut butter and jelly. I LOVE peanut butter and jelly with a passion. No joke. I can eat two or three a day. I once made a regular pb&j sandwich, then added another piece of bread with peanut butter on top b/c I am a fat ass. :) But hey, I’m still a kid. Wanna make somethin of it? Didn’t think so.

  33. My heart began to race, I felt like I was 9,000 miles above everyone else. I couldn’t tell if this was magnificance or despair.

    Emily KW
  34. Squishy. Fruity. I like it on my toast in the morning, the way the warmth of the toast and the sweetness of the jelly come together. I’d like to swim in a baby pool full of jelly. Better yet, i’d like to make jelly by smashing fruit with my feet in a baby pool.

    LOLACOLA

  37. jelly is purple and delcious and i love it with peanut butter on a soft piece of bread cut into two triangles. my mom always made the best pb and j sandwiches. they’re always better when she makes them, than my own. jelly reminds me of my childhood.

    corinne
  38. Jelly. She stepped on me like my heart was made of jelly, jumping up and down on it, squishing until the surface broke into a red-glob splatter. Did it matter that I had trusted her not to treat me like that? Did I really think that she had changed? If I did, then I’m a horrid idiot. If this wasn’t a surprise, why am I so hurt?

  39. Jelly is the most disgusting thing in the entire world. I hate the way it tastes. Ew. Gross. Especially jam with all those gross chunks in it. It is just plain nasty. I think that jelly and jam should be outlawed. No one would miss it that much…YUCK. I hate it. I wouldn’t miss it. -.-

    Caroline
  40. “You try it.”
“Ew, I don’t want to. Peanut butter and jelly is gross.”
    “We’ll both try it.”

This strikes me as fair enough. We stare each other down, searching for the truth behind our eyes, and then link pinkies. We take a bite together and both gag; it’s not that bad, but we’re only in second grade and our favorite game is trying to be the most dramatic, and so we laugh as we break our pinkies apart and vow to never try something so repugnant again.
Nine years later and we pass by each other without a word on the walk home. It’s funny how time has a way of breaking up two friends as if that little boy and little girl had never shared a pinky promise.
