  1. I am justified. Or am I. How do I actually place value or worth in myself? Isn’t it something that someone else chooses to pay for ME? Am I actually right and doing ok? Yes I am.

  2. Let’s change the flow. We take on new sentence structures. Make short ideas, shorter. And we take those big ideas and shatter them until we see everything that an idea can be, seeing the fragments and creating a city, shattering the city creating a world, sundering the world creating dreams. Shatter the dreams, create our not invisible reality. And the short idea grows shorter. Litotes.

  3. There is no explanation, no justification for my disappearance from the green and yellow real world. There is only the fact that I ended up in a blue and gold alternative state. Alternative country, alternative self. Only the defeated have to justify their actions; only the weaker have to convince superiors of their motives, and Love, I’m neither. I’ll do whatever the fuck I want, because power plus not giving a shit equals freedom. While I live, I’m free. You’d have to kill me to get control over me.

“Let her go!” Norine screamed, more to the crowd watching the girl than to her own captors. “She’s just a kid! This is wrong!”

Amelia pulled Norine back and looked her dead in the eye. In a small but hard voice, she said, “There’s no justification for killing her, I know. But we can’t do anything about this right now. Just remember this moment and use it as fuel for what’s to come.”

Norine saw the headsman raise his axe. Her eyes turned to bullets. “I will kill them all.”

  20. There was little justification for the way she felt. Or maybe there were decades of it. Layers and layers that had built up over the years until she couldn’t breathe for all the accumulated dust of and build-up crusting her lungs. One day she reached in and scrubbed it all away and found there was nothing left but herself and she didn’t know quite what to do with that.
Just herself was a weird way to be.
A strange way to feel, freeing and terrifying all at once.
She breathed into it and found that she hated it as much as she loved it. Was this prison? A life that she could see but not exactly live?

The only justification I need is why am I wasting my time here when I should be getting paid to do this.
