  1. the latch on the door made you wanna snatch. What is the point of a latch but to keep people out or in? Thats boring becuase then its always going to b the same peope that are in or out….its time to have a mixer so the in’s and out’s can turn themselves inside out

  4. door lock, garden gate, heart, cupboard door, horse stable, or anything like that but it sounds so much nicer than lock or key or any of the other words that keep a door closed.

  12. I was a latchkey kid all growing up. My parents both worked hard to provide us with a normal middle class life. Now my sister seems to be hardcore anti-latchkey with her daughters. It surprises me since I think we came out pretty well and we learned responsibility. Interesting to see how experiences are interpreted differently.

  14. Latch, when i see the word latch i think of a lock. I think of a door and locking it. If you want to unlock the door or a cabinet you left up the latch and pull.

  15. doors have latches. im not very good at opening doors. when i have to unlock a door there’s always too much stuff on my keychain to open it. theres a lot of scratches on the doorframe by the lock because they scratch it.

  17. The latch on the door was locked when she was inside the room that was so terribly lonely. How did she manage to isolate herself again without telling a soul that she was to sick to get up and unlock the door? Janie was ashamed of who she had become in these past few years and the distance between the door and the hallway was huge. It was her prison.

  32. i latch the door and run as fast as i can; the reindeer will be here soon and they cannot get into my home while i’m gone and i must go latch all the homes of neighbors as well. it’s hard living in the forest, but it works.
