203 Entries for “leading”

  1. As always from the back. Just wanted to encourage without being in the limelight. No chance of being shot down. No need to face the fear of criticism or rejection or success.

    Afees
  2. Leading a pack. Leading the world. Free leader of the new world. Who wants to have that kind of responsibility? Who wants to lead the pack of wolves into the inevitable fight. The hunt for food at the bleak time of winter where any animal barely survives. Who can take on that role? Not me. It’s not something I can handle.

    Gina
  3. Leading towards the inevitable fate that rest before him, the soldier fell headlong into the grave he had dug for his allies and enemies alike. As he fell in a broad arc, his eyes met the clear, blue sky. Indian chieftains looked onward, engulfed in fear. His eyes met the ground. His death was here, his fate was now. Destiny overtook him, leading him to his final bed.

    Tyler Nordhausen
  4. I don’t believe in leaders and followers – i believe that it is more important to STAND UP than to LEAD. Leading is deceiving others, telling them that you are trustworthy and know what you are doing – but you never do. Fool.

  5. Leading is a trait that not most people have. Leading is a fantastic trait that people in this world should learn and be a leader. That’s one thing this cruel worlds lacks is people leading and standing up to people in this world.

    Marika
  6. “I don’t get it Becky, why is his hair all big like that?”

“I don’t Dinah, perhaps he is leading. Flammable rats nest, Lycra and all.”

  7. he was leading me to a room, when suddenly the electricity went out and i heard a woman screamed from the room he was leading me to. everything was black, then suddenly someone grabbed my other hand and ran. i was so panicked but somehow, i followed.
we entered a room and he closed the door. it was silent and all i could hear was his rapid breathing.

  8. To be a leader is something that requires far more than simple mind and simple heart. It requires the soul. It requires a dedication far beyond mortal–one of the god’s even. Leading the people or leading the journey is matter of compassion and a love for life. Can you do that? Only then can you lead.

  9. Leading means to lead people. I am leading you to your doom. To be a leader you must have good experiences in leading people. Take me to your leader means to act in leading someone there. Leading me on is not very nice. The girl was leading on the boy. He had hopes that they would eventually be together. Leading someone to the bathroom is not very good hosting. Leading me into your existince is awesome. Jake is leading Finn into the yard.

    Dakota
  10. I am on a path. A path to nowhere. At least, I think it is nowhere. I do not know where it’s taking me; it might be leading me to a path of destruction. Or of happiness. And that is what I am aiming for.

    Lori
  11. I didn’t question where we were heading, I had no need to. The man leading the way was one of honor, honesty, and just all-around goodness. He was dangerous, yes. I wouldn’t cross him for anything, lest I find myself dead in a gutter someplace. But innocents were the ones he protected, and at the moment I felt pretty damn innocent. Except, perhaps, for in regards to my profanity.

  12. She didn’t know exactly where he was leading her. But nothing was stopping her. It was unnerving; she barely knew him. Yet his hand remained firm and soft around hers.

She trusted him in a bit of an egregious way. She’d heard the rumours, the warnings… but frankly, she didn’t care.

    elinmacrae
  13. i am not leading anyone else into temptation.

    probably.

  14. I wish I were the leading one in my group projects. But I’m always left behind, a follower. Leading a team to do what I wish my way, not their way. Adjusting things for my own benefit but to help others as well. I wanna lead.

  15. Something in the way. Dealing my actions for me. I’d rather be a lone wolf than be with the sheep following a shepherd. Make a left and fuck the right. Rainbow!

    Esteban Vasquez
  16. The fallen petals sifted amongst the cracked walkways, leading me through the moonlight to a world unknown. The winds continued to change in patterns unrecognizable, making the petals switch routes to darker places where the moon is absent. Pitch blackness is what lay ahead and I’m afraid to take a step forward into unwarranted lands. Who knows what lays ahead? I could find myself falling from a cliff or diving into a mossy swamp or stepping onto spikes portruding from the floor. I may even pass into an area full of light and enchantment. I will never know unless I continue treading behind those lonely petals.

  18. Leading is a far greater actiom than following. Anyone can follow, but it takes a great person to lead. It also takes, guts, courage, a sense of humor and a willingness to fail, but never a willingness to give-up hope that you will one day succeed in your mission.

  20. Come on, can I get a different word than leading? I’ve done this three times and if this is chance, the word I am left with, then probability is a strange thing. Either that or Leading is the only word that you can really get from this interesting website.

    Caleb Wilson
  21. Leading, some partake in it, others are products of it. Whether to lead, or to follow is the question. To believe in the ideas of others, or come up with thoughts of your own, to be unique. Some have the skill, and imaginative minds to be a leader, while others are just simple followers.

  26. Leading isn’t easy. It is a huge responsibility. It requires someone with strength and integrity to do it properly. An ideal leader should be someone people look up to. Strict, but understanding. Courageous enough to do the things others cannot or will not do. A leader should inspire greatness in others.

    Mary
  27. Ah, the day goes by with another leader. Leading the group both confidently, and strikingly amazing.I never knew how beautiful a journey could be with a leader like him. As for the other miscommunication between the time he lead us into a deserted cave…That was terrible. But, his leading skills have truly improved. I must say, I am impressed.

  28. With leading comes responsibility. I don’t like responsibility because it makes me have to worry about something other than myself.

  29. Leading. Leading me. Leading him. Leading. Leading onward. To a new future? Or backward into a loneliness that spirals down and down and down? I think to the future. Leading me on into something I want very badly. Something I want to work for and to play for. Someone. Jordi. Why did I write his name? What if this site is hacked? I don’t care. If he is leading me on, I sort of want him to.

  32. “Lead me to the cross, where your love pours out…” The song continued to fill the air as Callie sang softly to herself, gathering up the basket of flowers from the pile of horse blankets nestled beside her. She slid out from the pick-up truck and tucked the basket in the crook of her arm as she closed the door and squared her shoulders.

She could hear the rumble in the gravel road as others arrived and voices filled the air of the now-fading fog. She could see a few others with flower-laden baskets on their arms as they all approached the cemetary, a singular thought in mind.

She was first, the one leading, as they began the solemn walk among the white gravestone markers. With tear-filled eyes, but a light heart, she plucked the first flower from her basket and laid it before the first header stone.

    “Thank you.” She whispered.

  33. Leading. The thing “charismatic” people do. But what people don’t realize is there are more people fit for duty, but they choose not to and stand back and watch. They assume they are the least intelligent at times. It’s funny how those things turn out. Kind of frustrating as well.

    Brandon Ramirez
  34. Leading is something that needs to be done. Without people who lead, the world would be a disaster. Leading keeps people in order. Sheep who are lost depend on the shepherds to lead them. Otherwise they would fall off a cliff. Domestic cows, caterpillars and many other animals rely on those leaders.

  35. I am a leader, a leader takes everyone around them and shows them the way to go, or the best way to go. It takes time to be a leader, to stand out. But being a follower isnt always bad either. You might not get your own way all the time or get your ideas across.

  39. The grip on my hand was loose, always threatening to slip away. The owner darted in and out of the crowd, wove between people and flew across cracks in the pavement that nearly tripped me. The skin so barely clasped against my fingertips was cold and dry and calloused, and I followed the feather-like touch more than I followed him; and as I chased after his dreams, I came to realize that I would follow him across all the world if it only meant that someday, I would be able to hold that hand tightly and lead him home.

  40. i lead with an open heart and mind, but a stern set of rules. You must listen. You must open yourself up to new oppertunities. You must let yourself love. You must always do your best. You must love yourself. If all else fails, do what your heart tells you. if you find yourself at the bottom, you must remember that you can only go up. You must lead those who are lost.
