The children giggled behind their brightly colored stand that was freshly painted in yellow, light blue, and white. In sloppily painted letters at the top read, “Lemonade Stand,” paint dripping slightly from the edges. Their faces lit up with happiness every time someone walked up, praising them for their refreshing drink. The drink wasn’t truly that great-the lemonade was a sour and lukewarm-but the true gift was the pure joy the children had after each glass sold.
