  1. I love the smell of licorice. It reminds me of when I was a little girl and used to go into the candy store that was lined wall to wall with different flavours. Times were better then. Regardless of how much money we had. I was happy.

  2. Everything taboo tastes like licorice. If that’s the case, Henry was a downright Twizzler. But she didn’t care. She loved his strong hands on her, and his deep green eyes.

  3. I love licorice. Most people don;t i love good and plenty too,. i decided that there is a warehouse with every good and plenty ever ,made and they are just shipping them out forever until it is all gone because no one likes it but me and they have to get rid of all of them. when i eat a lot of them, however, my teeth get really sugary and I worry about cavitities. I am also worried that I might one day need braces.

  15. I always hated the taste of black licorice. Only the fake red Twizzlers I got from Safeway held any value to the eight-year old me. When I was younger, I went to Amish country, sometimes with a school class, sometimes not, getting candy, but always avoiding the licorice.

  19. The licorice stains on her teeth kept my wondering, the black streaks the moist tongue on lips, running riding the line that drags me back to the world I’m in, the world I left, the world that terrorizes my waking moments. The licorice stains that make her ugly, make me hate her, make me want her. I want to lick the licorice off her teeth.

  23. Delicious, black and stringy. No salty kinds please. Good n’ Plenties were a building block of my childhood. Being the only one that likes it means it doesn’t get stolen. Wheels and bits.

  27. licorice is either red or black. it is overrated generally. people get real intense about licorice, I think because it is a fat free food. it is fun to say and sounds vaguely dirty. it would be a beautiful name if you didn’t know what it meant. or it would be a good fighting technique. i like that it is in purple. this is a pretty good word. Ice is in there too.

  31. he place’s the licorice drops under his tongue. With hopes that the healing elixir will heal him of all of his ailments. That the licorice in his mouth will enable him to emit a forcefield capable of protecting him for the entire world

  32. I hate black licorice. I absolutely think it is the most terrible taste in the whole wide world. I would rather eat roasted rat over an open flame living on the streets of mexico than have to put dirty, old black licorice in my mouth. Red licorice is okay, especially the strawberry flavour. I like to eat it on such events as long road trips and cinematic adventures. The last thing I would like to say about licorice, is once on a road trip, my dad stuck it up his nose and I took a picture.

    Alexis
  33. licorice is my favorite treat when i go to the theater. it’s so red and sweet, but not overly so. the perfect amount of tasty. licorice is good. i like licorice.

  37. it was an august wedensday i hated my life and licorice was my best friend… im talkin bout the black stuff… the stuf that probably tastes like liqor and rice mixed together.

    Tanner Jensen
  38. I don’t know what licorice means. Never heard of it. Should i look up the meaning for it? But sixty seconds will get over before that. Why can’t you guys select a simpler name so that i can talk shit about it instead of conceding that i don’t know anything about it? Anyway i have decided to hate licorice as the very first meeting i had with it turned unpleasant.

  39. is sometimes not that delicious unless it is red licorice. ive never liked licorice…especially the jellybeans i was always disgusted come easter time when i would find black licorice jelly beans. It also reminds me of charlie and the chocolate factory. candy sounds delicious right now.

    Jessica Moll
