I loaned him a dollar and he repaid me. I gave him my heart and he broke it. I guess he thought it was a loan…

Give me give me.
I’ll give you back.
I promise.
I can.
Yes I can.
I can’t just now…
Honestly.
It’s just that – I NEED it now.
I didn’t know I was going to.
And now, here we are.
You’ve got it, I want it
Give it.
Quick.
Alex
“Where is it?”
I rummaged through my pockets, smiling sheepishly. “I ah… I…”
Before I could finish stammering, I bolted for the door, the heavy set man yelling after me. “Get that bastard!”
I sprinted down the block, out of breath. Perhaps next time I won’t do

Often not repaid but nevertheless given by well meaning people and banks which search endlessly for ways of ensuring profit which of course helps stabilize the economy given that they are repaid. They can be revoked thus causing chaos and panic.
Kat
i wondered what i could do where would i get the money. it wasn’t like any bank would look at me, no job, no home nothing nada! could I ask a friend?
yve
loan me your heart for the day so i can remind myself what it’s like to feel alive.
Matt Preprost
i gave you a loan for the marriage. i hope you liked it. i don’t know. i don’t want your money back. i just hope that you’re happy. i’m in love with you, and all i care about is your happyness. don’t worry. i’ll be fine. good luck with your life.

it was september and Joanne was thinking how nice it would be to loan someone who really needed it some money. But wondered how she would find that certain someone who needed it, an ad in the paper or ask family and friends. When suddenly it came to her, she knew just the person who needed her help and they had been sat right in front of her eyes…

a loan is something bloodsuckers from a bank give you in order for you to do what you want in this world as far as a career and living goes. In american society a loan is a neccessity. If you arent careful a loan will bite you in the ass and if the bankers make bad loans we end up in the situation were in now.
Pcrow
I don’t want to need any more loans for anything in life. I want to buy cars with cash, pay off credit card “loans” and even get my mortgage paid off. Loans hang over your head like a cloud of doom. They start out as a blessing and turn into a nasty obligation where the fun wore off years ago. I don’t want to need them anymore.
casey
A loan was given to I, I smoked it all away. The car payments were due, so I flew away. So far away nobody could reach me.
Bill Shears
well some people need money, other people have money. When you have money and don’t really need it you can get a loan – but only as long as you can prove that you don’t need it. If you do in fact need the money, then they will not even consider giving it to you. This is the basis of modern banking. The less you need money, the more is given freely to you so you can spend it on other things that you don’t really need. Like big red cars shaped like penises.
Tom
to get stuff from someone,, probably a bank,, probably money… many you’ll just end up broke after this.. then what? I don’t know. The economy is in the gutter and loans is the last thing you’ll want to consider.. You should try cutting back on the $ you spend.. maybe pick up a second job… maybe give up on consumerism.. run away and become a freegan!
varvara
being a student sucks more than you can imagine. I have at least 8 of these babies waiting for me when i get done. not only am i paying for school with tons of blood sweat tears and sleepless nights, but i’ll still be paying for it when i’m 50.

I took out a loan to buy a house but the bank failed and I lost the house so now I live in a cave and wear leopard skins but leopards are protected and I am not so i lose again. That’s life in the big city these days.

I’ve never taken out a loan. In fact, I’m not completely sure what a loan is even though I’m a college freshman. They don’t teach us real life stuff. They teach us art and architecture and drama and political theory. But a loan? More like, alone.
Molly
loan me a buck, he asked her.
no. i don’t have anything to do with deer, or other animals like that. really. i don’t.
but i need it. i need the money.
too bad.
it’s not like that.
too bad.
i’m not using you.
she was silent then; they had come to the heart of the matter.

I need a loan to buy a car. I need a car to get a job. I need a job to get money so I can pay off my loan. And buy gum.
eva
Loan . . . it seems like everyone in the world wants a loan right now. Only they are calling them bailouts. The banks want a loan from the government. The car industry wants a loan from the government. I am surprised that Ed McMahon has not asked the government for a loan. And what is the guarantee that the loan will be repaid? There isn’t one.
Caroline
yeah i guess i dont really like loans all that much. it reminds me of a previous job at state farm in which i felt incompetent of the work i was doing but had such little caring that i just made it work. idk. i hated that job.
jess
school. debt. hahahah idk.

The bank offered me a loan and I thought, ” What the heck I could use the money” I didn’t think about the consequences though and the debt that would incur. I was young and foolish and that’s probably what’s wrong with the country at the moment.

a loan is all i have
to give it is all i can do
to realize this harsh reality
is the biggest step of my life
i have stopped living this fantasy
to face the facts is all there is left to do
now can you?
Dayyy
your life is just a loan from God
a suicide mission for him
if ever you chose to not believe this true
you have lost everything
the only way to gain it back is through him
and who can resist this perfect reality?
no one in their right mind
no one…
Dayyy
so everyone wanted one of these things
for homes bigger than they could afford
and cars more frequently than they could handle
and trinkets that lost their value upon touch
and music that they grew tired of
and other things…and eventually
the loans went for food, bills and interest
and the banks started turning their loans
into nothing
and the people cried massive tears…

that’s one of the things i hope i don’t have to get this year, i’ve heard horror stories about those.
i know a few friends who need to pull out loans, but i know they’re trying hard to save up enough to pay that back. i know they won’t take it, but maybe i can convince them to let me help ’em a bit…
d( ‘-‘ d) happy new year!

a way of commiting yourself long term to short term needs. You will inevitably end up spending far more than you b udgeted, and the buggers are making money out of your inability to pay for what you want now. I think loans are a baaad idea. Why did I get a mortgage?
fay
I need some cash, I really do. It’s a fucking mad world when that’s the only thing I need right now. I don’t need love, I don’t need music and I don’t need philosophy, I just. I really need cash. And I am not really sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, that the world can be summed up in four words, all style and no substance, some need for something that God didn’t use and neither did the animals. I am a person in need and homeless in the ways that count.
Bethany
loans are when you get shit for no reason and probly don’t deserve it… fuck off cori…=]

UNCERTAINTY SET IT. I WASN’T SURE WHETHER I COULD PAY IT OFF, BUT I NEEDED THE MONEY, SO I JUST WENT FOR IT; I WOULD SORT IT OUT SOMEHOW.
BUT I NEVER SLEPT PEACEFULLY AGAIN!

in order to get my new house, I will have to get a loan. But, is it the right thing to do? Is it vanity? What makes me want this new house? How do I think that it will really improve my life? The more things we have, the more stress that puts on our lives. Am I willing to make life more stressful by making it better?
Jennifer
I wish I could have paid a loan back really early. Instead, as a young mom, I guess I accidently paid the loan company the total of my our bank account and they wouldn’t send it back. It was very, very upsetting. However, that was certainly a long time ago. Probably around 40 years ago and long forgotten by everyone else involved. I really enjoyed this exercise.
Judy
Loan. The word of greed and possible deception. Loan means giving something temporarily, yes, but quite often, that something is never returned. It is an ugly word. The only proper substitute is give.
Bill
Yesterday, I just made a loan to buy a new house. It won’t really be “my” house, in fact I should say “our”. Because yes, even if my parents don’t agree on this relationship, it will be with my girlfriend.

everyone under d pressure of dis daddy called loan……….it has actually made life easier for greedy ppl but mind it intially but when time goes off its actually a nightmare

Loan…a dangerous word in these times,
a dangerous idea always.
Loan, lend, it leads to owe.
There are some debts
that can never be paid;
some interest that will
just keep piling up.
Kristin K. Ross
Loan sharks obliterated my childlike idea of serenity. I was never safe. I was never alone. A constant barrage of fear and insecurity followed me like a nightmare i could never awaken from.

i remember when i had to loan money in order to buy a chocolate bar since i was craving for one, real bad. funny how borrowing a small amount of money can still be called a loan. i always thought that the term loan were for bigger amounts. :b
