  6. locks on a door. i can lock my car. a key opens a lock. I was locked out of my house. The size of that lock is too small. Lock the bathroom door when you use it. I can now lock my bedroom with a twist. I lock all my doors at night. Looking through a lock is difficult.

  12. when you lock your door it really bothers me, like as though if you asked me not to come in i would not listen and just barge in because i was curious or suspicious about your behaviors that you just wanted to keep private like maybe masturbation. but maybe also it was something really nice like making me a birthday card on my birthday and you just think i’m a big asshole trying to sabotage it.

  19. i locked myself in a closet the other night. it was damp and scary, and i couldnt find my way out. i figured that i might as well go through all of the things that were in the closet, so i did. i found a bunch of small trinkets, such as a 20 dollar bill, a small lego man, a tiny saftey pin, and the like.

  20. Lock the door! Here it comes. I tried to jam my body against the door but it was of no use. This was not going to be easy. The rain was pouring down and the wind was howling. I braced myself for the worst. The pounding was getting louder and louder. And then I woke up. It was a sunny day. The birds were singing. I was drenched in sweat, my fists clenched. It took a while before I could get out of bed.

  28. The lock was stuck. It usually only sticks in the cold, so i was shocked when i couldn’t get into my house. my mom told me to get a new lock, but i didn’t. i never listen to her, even when i think i should.

    It took a simple twist of the metal piece in my hand before the door swung open on oiled hinges. I blessed the owner of the house for keeping the doors so well maintained and stepped inside quietly.

    The furnishings of the house were much more lush than I remembered from my time there but the same dusty smell burdened my senses and I forced the urge to cry out to Isabelle.

    If a lock if placed on something, clearly you’re doing it for a reason.
