  1. Key. Door. Closed. Someone I can’t connect with. Unwillingly doesn’t want to let me in, sometimes willingly. We don’t know where the key is. He doesn’t want to look for it, while I still do. Why won’t you let me in? I can’t hurt you.

  3. Locks are used for our protection; to keep those we don’t want getting in from entering. I have a lock on my heart. I didn’t intend to put it there, but it ended up there anyways. I wish I could find the key.

  4. secure a lock is cool it makes things hard to get you need a key to get through it if you do not have one you are screwed and probably won’t get whatever is inside that the lock is protecting if you have a lock you probably don’t trust the people around therefore you suck

  5. it was the lock that made me late for work the other day. as i was leaving, it decided to freeze up on me. only then did i realise the lack of care i’ve been giving it. golden brown rust all over it’s gashes.

  7. Ah, well, that reminds me of every time I’ve locked myself out of my house. It happens frequently because we can never seem to keep a spare key outside anywhere, and I am a very forgetful person. But you know, mornings are hectic. Sometimes it’s nice though, because I can just sit on the back porch and wait it out with a good book.

  9. doors usually have locks. they keep intruders out. they also make it so people cant get into other peoples things. you usually lock something when you want to keep people out. or to keep something safe.

  13. We locked eyes those few seconds, his gorgeous blue eyes widening in surprise, as if shocked that I existed. He’d never so much as glanced at me before. I only gazed back… surely my brown eyes are so much less exciting as his beautiful azure ones.

  15. I used to keep my heart locked away. Naw, I’m lying. I was available, flirted a lot, and played with people’s minds. I never messed with their emotions though… that wasn’t in my nature, too harsh. Anyways, my heart is locked now… and only he holds the key. And you know what? I like it this way…

  35. Locks are frustrating from the outside, annoying from the inside. When you’re outside, you have to pull out keys, find the right one, and manage to hold onto everything while turning the key what feels like 43 times. From the inside, you’re never quite sure if the lock will hold up in an attack from burgulars.

  38. The lock always goes with a key. Each person’s heart is a lock and they have their own key. When they truly fall in love, the other person posses the key to open your lock. However, if they lose it the key, the lock of your heart may never be unlocked again.
