  1. lock me up and I will break free. My mind cannot be contained.

    ophelia
  2. Sometimes I forget to lock the door. It’s unintentional, just something I do because I’m absent minded and I like going forward to do other things. Poor Brian has to lock everything for me, and usually gives me a hard time for it. I should get remote lock thingies for everything I own. not just the car, but the house, my purse, my desk at work, etc.

    Stephanie
  3. I’ve got it all on lockdown. This is the brainstorming process. I know how I work, I know what conditions I work best under. I strive to be the best. I strive to be happy. But it’s not showing up much in my work. I can be better than this. My image of myself is much larger than I project it to be. Why do I sit around with only “potential”? That’s not enough. If you pray, move your feet.

  4. She held the lock in her hand and thought about where her nearest bobby pin was. She wanted to know what her sister wrote about her in her diary. She wanted to know what was so damn important that she had to lock it away from her. If it had just been a notebook on the table, instead of a locked book of secrets, she wouldn’t have cared at all.

    Abby

  6. Lock was ready to go. He had a helluva night drinking with his girlfriend, well, it wasn’t really his girlfriend. More of a one-night stand if anything, but he always called them girlfriends. More than one night of sex was good enough for him. In the end, it wasn’t really worth it all.

time has me kept from all others…

  9. and key.
welcome to the door that holds your astounding future behind it’s hinges!
    May I see your key?
What- what is this you say? No key.
I’m afraid then, as it is
    destiny,
you must find another way in.
    Your future is at stake.

    Brittany
  10. i locked the door and walked away. Turn the key. My brain doesn’t know how to flow. I wish I knew. Lock me up. I am locked up. I’ve been inside for days. What’s fresh air like. I haven’t breathed it. Lungs scratched and raw, from coughing and choking on dust. Thank you for the lock. I am a bird.

  11. A lock is something that people use to keep other people out. It can be used to hide illegal funds made by someone without the government knowing or perhaps a rare family heirloom that needs to be kept private. It is to prevent and to block. To deny access. A key is used normally to open such things, but bobby pins are used to try and open them in movies. Locks.

  14. I have a lock in my backpack. It’s a combination lock, the kind you turn the dial. It was really cheap .. might have even been bought at a dollar store. So I can’t change the combo or anything. In fact, I don’t have to be all that careful to even hit the right number. Getting within 3 or so works fine. Which is good. Because I can’t remember the exact combo. But I remember the general area and the lock clicks open.

  15. ON the day of the Sabbath Izzie and his father had closed down their shop just as any other Sabbath. Today though the lock would not set, after each turn it would slide easily, lazily back to it’s open position.

    Nick Skidmore
  16. Locks keep people out. i don’t like them. they are mean really if you think about it. people just want to get inside and locks keep them from doing that. whoever invented locks should feel ashamed of themselves. i wish i never had a lock. really, the world would be better without them of course, the robbers would really like that as well. so maybe there could be locks that only apply to bad people.

    Amber Langford
  17. Locked out or locked in? Neither is good. But I guess I’d rather be locked in. At least you belong somewhere that way.

And I locked it for a reason. So that he’d know that it was there. But not necessarily for him to have constant access to it…Not to tease.

    So I locked it.
    Duh.
