  13. The mailbox is a funny thing. I can send a message to you about how much I miss you or how much I hate you, and I don’t have to be present for any of it. I don’t have to see your eyes when they’re reading my words. The mailbox complacently holds my emotion for you until you walk up to it and innocently reach inside. It also, quite nicely, doubles as a brace for you when you reach the end of the letters and realize what a mistake it is that you have made.

  18. Biggs was setting up for the next wave of controlled riots. Central was ready to release the month’s food ration chits, and they were going to be reduced by 33 percent. People were going to take to the streets.
Windows were hung, vehicles rolled out over fire suppression stations. he’d scattered the last of the bricks when he passed the mailbox. Big, old, a hunching piece of metal.
It never ceased to amaze him that it was here. You couldn’t dent it, damage it. What good was it, in this controlled riot zone?

  20. “Check your mailbox, lazy bum” Charlie says, lifting the brim of my hat up and blinding me with the bright light streaming into the room. It is an unhappy awakening from my post-concert snooze.

  33. I dropped a letter in your mailbox. I didn’t know what to say, so I wrote it out. Things I wanted to scream, things I wanted to shout from the rooftops, things I wanted to cry out on your shoulder. But I keep growing older, and as I do, I go colder. So I leave a letter in your mailbox.

  34. Once there was this mailbox. It was really plain really boring then one day BANG the mailbox changed forever.
It wouldn’t just be the same mailbox again. It was totally destroyed but much more exciting.
It’s owner could use this bent twisted peices of steel as a mailbox any more. But finally something had happened that people would talk about. At last it wasnt a mail box… Even if it was pnly just a peice of junk now, it didnt matter, Somrthing had finally happed to it. Somrhintg other that, the mail comes, it gets collected. The most excitning thing that ever happened to that mailbox was it blew up.
Something is always better than nothing.

  40. Mailbox is given by yahoo, google and many search engines.

There will be folders like spam, trash (deleted mails), inbox, sent items and draft on the first look.

Other folders can be created and the mails can be sent to them.

Labels can be given to segregate the mail.

We can either star or flag to follow up the mails. Mails can contain the attachments or not.

Mails can be of 1kb to 1gb file also. Yahoo allows 10Mb.
