  1. I love mangos. I only had one mango drink today. I had a mango smoothie yesterday. It was yummy. They’re delicious but slightly make my tongue feel raw. I didn’t like them when I was little but was intrigued because I saw them on Crash Bandicoot (the game). I loved watching my mom play those games. It was a bonding moment, but really, as I look back, I wish we’d taken walks instead.

  5. Mangos are so awesome, fleshy delicious. Not like tomato gross fleshy, but juicy and tangy and sweet. The colors are those that I would like to be able to paint in progression in an unbroken color scale. Mangos are good.

  6. whatever happened to Chris Kattan, I’m not sure I want to live in a world where Jimmy Fallon gets his own talk show and Chris Kattan disappears from public consciousness.

  7. the plump fruit hung from the branch, as she reached her hand out toward it her nose caught the sent of the surrounding orchard. It was a warm summer day and this was one of the first ripe fruits that the trees had produced. Plucking it from the branch she peeled it, bit into it and savored the sweet taste as the juices filled her mouth, washing her tongue with the tangy taste.

  8. Somebody had once told her she hadn’t lived until she had eaten mangoes naked and let juice drip down her arms. Too bad mangoes tasted like dirt and that hippy bullshit didn’t impress her. She couldn’t see that being one of the regrets that snuck up on her as she lay on her deathbed. If she ever did decide to eat a mango, it would be fully clothed and most likely leaning over a sink, thank you very much.

  9. I’ve already written about this. Mangos. Mangoes? Either way, I love them. They’re the most delicious fruit… mostly because they are one of the more difficult to cut. I mean, those pits. They’re awfully annoying.

  10. I’ve never eaten a mango, but I really like mango juice. At least, I really like the higher end brands. The cheap stuff at the bodega is pretty gross, actually. Tastes like water and sugar and a little soap. Not worth it, unless you’re pretty high.

  11. mangos come from trees, I think. They make me think of Mango Pango. That is a character on Neopets. I don’t know why. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten Mango. it looks pretty gross, to be honest. I’ve never been a huge fruit fan, so why would I try it? I’d much rather try out some awesome new potato dish with some awesome vegetables.

  12. Her mango scent intoxicated him; it matched perfectly with the light red color of her hair, the fumes coming off in tiny waves as she twirled in front of him, smiling tauntingly.

  13. I was once in a wooded area made of marmalade and dreams. The marmalade was flavoured of mango… The dreams were just dreams. Regular old dream flavoured dreams. If I had but a moment more to think Im sure I could of found a cure for that.
Flavourless dreams are a thing of the past.

  14. I held the half bitten fruit up to the setting sun. Tilted it, so it fit perfectly in front of the rays shining in my eyes. Juices dripped down my arm. The sweet smell filled the air. I tried to wipe my mouth but little bits of sand rubbed against my lips.

  15. I remember a detective story I’ve ever read about mango. There is a man who has eaten mango and left his shit on the crime scene. The detective finds the fiber of mango in his shit and finally identifies the murderer.

  16. hey whats up? i was walking and i saw one of my friends so i stopped, I said, “Hey how are you?, they responded, “I’m good thank you.” Then we got into a whole conversation about everything and then i started to leave and said bye

  18. its the first thing i noticed about him. his hideous mango colored shoes. i stood behind the counter barely able to stay awake, the fan whistled an annoying tune behind me.

  19. my cousin is allergic to mangos. she just found out last year, shes 20 years old. theres a restruant in our town called mango mangos and it has good food its a carribean restruant and i dont think anything in the food there has mangos in it but amybe it does i order the same thing everytime i go there.

  20. The green mango sat on top the counter as my feet dangled over, blood dripping slower than the constant drops of water leaving the sink faucet. Everyday she sat there, everyday the mango withered.

  21. Sometimes I feel as though mangoes taste like the past; as if you are biting into a little piece of what natives ate. I feel as if in some other life I used to eat mangoes… just sit around a fire, eating mangoes as the sun set on the water. Maybe, hopefully.

  22. She was always trying to give me something I didn’t want. At first it was easy to take it anyways, to lie and say I would be fine playing games I didn’t want to play, watching movies I didn’t want to watch, doing things I swore I’d never do. It moved onto harder things; ignoring people I didn’t want to ignore, dressing a way I didn’t want to dress, acting a certain way I didn’t want to act. If she wanted to ditch and I didn’t, I was a bad friend. If she wanted me to do something for her that I didn’t want to do, I was a heartless bitch. She broke the mango in half- hers bigger, as I was used to- and asked if I wanted half. I took it, though I hated mangoes, always had hated mangoes, because eating it was easier after all that time of doing nothing than standing up for myself.

  23. Dried Mango is not only one of the most delicious dried fruits that we sell at the store, but also the most popular, not coincidentally. I cannot help of thinking of Chris Kattan when I look at a mango, fresh or dried. I always think of him playing “Mango” the transsexual/transvestite seductress.

    Abby

  26. Mangos are my favorite fruit in the entire world. I love the way they smell, the way they taste, their texture. Everything. My most recent boyfriend couldn’t stand mangos. I guess that’s why today, we can’t be together. I can’t date a guy who doesn’t like them. Sharing a love for mangos is at the top of my priorities list when looking for a mate.

    Lindsey
  27. Mango slices on a plate. Sweet, sticky mess. Dribble down your chin into the collar of your white shirt. Your fingers are useless. You drop a slice once, twice, then pinch it resolutely and bring it to your mouth. It tastes all the more satisfying.

  31. Mangoes are delicious. They’re a bit hard to cut, though. That pit is just ridiculous. I love when the juice gets all over the cutting board and counter because that’s when you know you’ve picked a good one.

    Megan
