  4. Mantle is a thing that I think of as a cape. Capes are awesome things worn by superheroes. Superman wears a cape..The Flash doesn’t and I like the flash more I think Superman is over rated. That is all.

  17. i see a mantle before me. it is blue and silver with a red trim. i believe this mantle is the mantle to heaven. this is what you see after you die. i once stuck my head in this mantle and i felt the rain. it was unlike any other rain i had ever felt. this was pristine, cool, and pure. it was the rain in the mantle of heaven. i was amazed at this wonder that i had never seen.

  32. My mantle holds memories. Of lives lost, lives being lived. I walk past many times a day yet don’t see them at all. They are right in front of my face yet so ordinary to my life. My mantle holds things to think about yet it is rarely given a thought. It is just there, waiting for attention.

  39. On the mantlepiece there are photos. Parisian street signs. A collection of model Eiffel towers. Two Chinese urns. Birthday cards. Other trinkets. To the left is a ledge with childhood photos and above is a mirror, antique and gold. To either side of the mirror are inbuilt bookcases, completely filled and completely packed. A bookshelf ladder leans on the wall to the right and a chandelier hangs overhead.
