  5. You can’t really dismantle a word like mantle because to mantle mantle in the first place is quite a dismantling of it’s own. There are mantles for many things including other mantles at which there is no time to discuss. Mantles like who they are and fell that they should be respected as such.

  9. I love the mantle at Christmastime. It seems that we’ve had the same stockings ever since I was little. I’m a big traditionalist as far as holidays go, keeping and using the same ornaments store bought or hand made year after year. So to see the old stockings hanging on the mantle is a reassuring sight to me.

  25. mantles are not the best thing to place cups on. They could fall easily and spill everywhere. knick knacks could also fall off and break, or shatter, which ever way you look at it. Mantles are good places for metal objects if you ask me. Big metal owls or flowers, whatever you can find i guess. Mantles are made of wood so I suppose wood would be good too.

    The wall decided one day to break its chain from this lonely mantle. Crack, crack, cracking.. went the wall. The mantle smashed to the floor into pieces. It was now part of a group of tiny mantle pieces.
