The door slowly opens and I hold my breath. Yes he’s seen me naked but always under covers. thoughts race through my mind will i still be good enough for him. he takes one look at me and draws me toward him for a long hot kiss before we step together into the shower. a perfect match.

  5. Match as in Tennis. As in movies about Tennis. Why are there movies about tennis? Does anyone really care about such a dull sport? And who came up with the term “love” – as in tied – as in equal. Doesn’t make sense to me. “Love” is too clean – too perfect – in tennis. Love isn’t that way in real life. Its messy and never equal. Match – who you match with – love – tennis.

    Match point.

    That's it
  6. the match of the two was hopeless and destructive.

they burned and burned and burned, as if they’d been left in a room flooding with gasoline and only a match, but it was beautiful, and i stared through the windows into that room the whole time.

i wish it could have gone on forever, i wish i could have been there.

i found perfection then, and never have again.

it’s strange that this destruction was the furthest i’ve ever been from fear of annihilation and things like that.

  7. Are you a match for me? Really? That’s pretty egotistical of you, I think. One more step and you’d already be ash on the floor.

    That’s an expensive carpet.

Then again, I hear that’s the way you like it.

A bit firmer, but still bomp. Now it’s the opposite around. First schmacker just bomp, then second bomper just schlobb.
