  1. What came to mind that early fall day, was a series of images with her face in every one. I knew I couldn’t stand to live here anymore. I knew I had to go and see her. She was everywhere in my mind.
I sat up late beneath the stars and thought about her for such a long time until I thought I could hear her voice in the wind.

  2. an experience, a firepit near warm marshmallows, a man, you possibly, playing a guitar, softly, as its notes peter out into the night. one by one, they all leave, each member of the camp tired out, yet you still play.

  3. When I think back to summers on the farm there are many times that I am struck by the incredible simplicity of the people. They live their lives by what seem to be invisible tides. Mornings at the donut hole, work in the hot sun and evenings for ice cream and showers.

  5. I have alot of trouble with my memory and I’m only 15 years old. I was an Accutane for a while and I think I might have Secondary Incracranial Hypertension but I can’t afford the doctors bills to pay for a spinal tap or an MRI. I work very hard to try and preserve my memory but all of my efforts seem futile. I want to be a neuroscientist when I grow up but I just cant see it happening without memory help.

  6. What is in a memory? is it a time of place in one’s head? a record of our lives and a leading on to what shall soon be? Does memory evolve in our minds? a copy of what we’ve done? what others have done? What is a memory but an aspect that the mind can never really solve, can we hide a memory? are there memories hidden deep in our minds? our senses? if known by ourselves? what do we know?

  8. A trap. An often very nice trap. Other times a trap in the worst sense of the word. Break free and be free. Not then. Not tomorrow. Now.

  9. It is when you think you don’t need it that it shows. Even though most people value memories as treasures, I just use them as experience. I build up on them to grow stronger, but I never regret anything, I never look at photos or watch family movies. I don’t think it has any use. Nostalgy is unknown to me. I do not despise it, I just can’t feel it.

  10. im not really sure… i mean, i have lots of them. if i were to write about a specific one i might spend too much time on the details and not enough on the point. besides, how would i know witch one to write about. some are better then others, but i would prefer to write something funny. are people going to read this?

  11. the wonderful ability to remember things. Living life and having both good and bad memories. Throughout life as one learns and grows, memories are often remembered. The bad memories help shape a person into who they are as well as the good ones. As much as some want to avoid the past it becomes apart of who you are

  12. pop goes the weasel and the weasel goes pop, what a memory i had right there, it was mostly plagarism. All the cool kids plagarize their work, come on, get with the now, it’s the 90s or later! this is serious business.

  14. I’ve lost my memory. I don’t miss it too much though. The things I’ve seen the places I’ve been, they’ve never amounted to very much. The memories, good or bad, have little or no value in my life. I’m sure after all I’ve done those memories were nothing special to hold on to. Whatever is next is what i want. The knowledge of something better coming my way is greater than the loss of all of my memories.

  15. i have lot’s of memories about my childhood which always make me feel safe and happy. I think memories make people feel good about them because there is no uncertainty about them since you take out all the risks and all the negativity of the things that happened on this specific occasion.

and i cant believe how crystal clear it was. I often have memories of my childhood. You could say I take a trip down memory lane. My fondest memory would have to be getting the tattoo on my left shoulder for my deceased grandma.

  29. memory is an amazing thing. It’s applicable in both machines and living organisms… excluding plants and Jellyfish. Memory in computers is measured in bytes, while memory in living things is measured in… how good a memory you have. Great job, America. I think I have a decent memory. I mean, except when I’m told to do things. I remember past events, but not things I’m told to do, if that makes any sense. Sweet. Like chores.

  33. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t hold my breath. My memory doesn’t go that far back. All I have is a vague recolection of letting it out and sucking air back in. It must be wonderful.

  34. Something I have nothing of and I wish I did. Though some say I have one of an elephant, which is meant to be the best in the world. An elephant never forgets a face. Really, I should work on it, shouldn’t I?

  35. I think back to the days when I actually had a summer vacation. When sentimental songs brought back even further memories of vacations, time spent with best friends at the river, days spent staying up all night to watch movies, talk about boys and drink sodas all night. Those were the days.

  36. my memory is very weak, but i think if i exercise my brain a little bit it can improve.
Though memory is as valuable as it can be, one of the most shocking movies i have seen about memories is eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. I believe people in and out of love frequently just erase their memory or scientifically speaking, condition it.

  37. memory is the gift which got gave to us..a human memory remembers loads and loads of instances from childhood till death..we dont have any measuring capacity how much memory we have though it can be classfied as fast grasping memory …dumbo etc etc…But its not the case with the case of computers normally the memory in computers are classfied as primary memory and secondary memory.Primary memory stores the information temporarily and secondary memory stores for ever. Why we also dont have a system like that so that we remember bad instances temporarily and good instances permanently.. its all in the game of life..and lets play in it with our memory and reach heights in our life and we prove the usefulness of our birth in this world . All the best humans..lets rock for ever.

  38. I have a lot of memories about my childhood. I remember nearly drowning in a creek as our neighborhood was under construction. I hope when I am old I can look back on a plethora of great memories and feel that my life was more enjoyable than I currently anticipate it to be. Memories can also haunt us.

  39. memory is a wonderful thing you know. It can teach people, even nations of do’s and do not do’s. Memory humbles the proudest of the proud and inspires even the smallest man. For me, memory can be a wonderful thing as long as it doesn’t have to deal with the past which is ridiculously impossible since it goes against everything the word stands for.
