  5. I used to romanticize mental hospitals. They seemed kind of fun, like a big sleepover for people who are just kind of off–but aren’t crazy people sometimes way more interesting and fun? Plus, the movie Girl Interrupted kind of made it look that way…but now I’ve known a few people who’ve been, and mental hospitals are much less appealing.

  6. Mental case. I’ve been accused of it before. I’ve learned over the years that it isn’t a derogatory remark. It seems to me that being “mental” isn’t a bad thing. The ability to use your mind effectively and to think things through and make informed decisions is really what being mental is all about. Not being stupid. Mental shouldn’t be bad.

  18. there are lots of mental people in the world in the uk they dont have enough money for mental health care lots of people are trying to get more funding quite a few people who murdur and comit serious crimes have mental health problems in the old days they used to put them into insitdutitions like in one flew over the cuckoos nest

    seriously because I overanalyze every little thing and for once in my life I wish I could just be free and LIVE without worry.

  25. I’m really in the worst metal condition I’ve ever been in. My dad is overseas with the military, my mom is doing her Ph.D and she is never here for me, my best friends mught have cancer adn I’ve got depression. I have no idea how I’m going to deal, and it seems as if there is just no end to it all.

    Mental is a condition of state of mind.
    mental is a conditional state of mind reflecting ones attitude and presence of thoughts. To be mental and to act mental can be entirely two different things. Mental can be a challenge to us who are mental. Mental can be an encouragement to others when we find someone else who is mental, then we know we are not alone in our mental condition. this whole exercise is mentally exhausting. I’m about to loose my mind!
