  24. it is a four-letter word. purple mist? i do not know were i got that but i did somewhere. i confess i have not a durn clue what connotatiopns that might have. Who engineerd this combination? it reminds me very forcibly of chloromphenicol. ido hope i got that word correct and that i have not confused it with something else. in other words i hope that my brain has furnished me with the correct name for the chemical combination i mean to
    convey. if not i happen to be quite mist the boat and have sadly lost my way

  25. the young ship captain drew his telescope attempting to pierce the thick mist, but alas to no avail.

  26. The mist was think. Vision was clouded by the dense mass of formless vapor, and not even the front part of the ship could be seen. The captain closed his eyes; prayed to heaven. Nothing happened. He decided it was worthless to keep trying, so he closed his eyes once again, pulled the trigger and killed the mist.

  27. i miss only one thing about school busses. every morning, on the way to school, the mist would always create a creepy feel over the town. i felt like i was in another country. it inspired me. it was peaceful. it was beautiful. but that’s the only thing i miss about riding that nasty school bus.

  29. It was dark when they crept up to the castle walls. Rynauld started to climb, but the top of the wall was obscured by the fog that had crept in. He was afraid of it, even though he knew it was silly to be afraid of a mist; but it had blown in when their was no wind, and centered on the castle alone, it seemed. It was wholly unnatural, and did not bode well for the mission.

    Cecil and Kain stood near the end of the cave as the mist started to gather and swirl above their heads.

    “Leave…thiss…placcccee….” The haunting voice echoed throughout the cave.

    Suddenly, the hissing mist gathering was interrupted by a large roar. The mist had taken the form of a gigantic wyvern! Cecil and Kain readied themselves.

    but of course, as it feels always happens with this group, we were not so lucky.

    there we were in the misty rain and raging lake
    no longer able to view the island we’d left and still unable to see the shore

    there we sat.
    misting rain, covered in sweat and lakewater
    exhausted, yet somehow happy.

  35. The sky misted down. I looked up, squinting with curious eyes. However, I quickly learnt that it was not the sky misting, but a small hose above me, greeting me into this water park. There were tall trees and a large arch, welcoming all who entered. It was cool and refreshing, blessing all who entered in as a glittering rainbow phased them through.
