  5. It was difficult to keep it all straight. As a knight he had to always respect his master, always obey the man he worked for. And yet, he still had to stand by his own morals. So if his master had him do something that went against him, like this, what was he to do?

If we knew and remembered the importance of Morals this world would have been a better place. Morals make things easier as we know morally what is right and what is wrong, which would easily guide us to better things and make us do what is right and what we should get.

    Really? To me, morals factor into the means. I don’t have a specific set of rules – “I only know what feels good and what feels bad after.” And even then, something you do that feels good winds up making you feel like shit. That’s pretty much all I can do or say about the matter personally. I’m always worried about the rules I write for myself…worried I may be trapped by them….

Even the most liberal’s morals are often absolute – “You can not enforce your morals on other people” the most egregious. Philosophy is a lost art replaced by media and secularism. People believe in morals they are given instead of ones they have grown from seeds.

  16. everyone is born with an innate sense of what is right and wrong and this determines the morals you have. however, as a person grows up, your sense of what is right and wrong is changed and shaped by societal influences and the people around you; by what you learn and what other people tell you.
    it is up to you to decide what is right and wrong/ good or bad and to live your life in a wholesome manner.

They are very important and are influenced upon from the people they’re closest to. They are the sustenance in every good person and help in their journey through life. Morals are what is right or wrong in a person’s perspective. They are decided from every individual and bring the person into an understanding of their own being.

  22. they won’t get me to steal, lie about certain things, fail to protect the vulnerable, it’s not just morals, its the idea that for some reason all rules are stricter for me, that the punishments will come fast and hard, instant karma and all that, but then other rules are easily over-ridden, not for me, just for the people that need them

  26. Everyone has ‘morals’. I have mine. However, they have been held up high and they have fallen to low depths.Finally at the age of 21 I think I am learning where I stand with mine. What I believe and don’t believe. I feel that I have come to a happy middle ground that I can enjoy.

  30. Morals are all relative. They are based upon what you have seen, what you have done, and the people you have met. To judge one on their morals is trivial and useless. Judge one on their actions, and their reasons, AT THE TIME, for having them.

  34. i think morals are there for a reason, they help us decides what is right and what is wrong. it lets us know, in our gut weather or not the thing we are doing or want to do is actually something we should or should not do. it keeps us on the right path.

    Seriously, morals are a personal choice, think personal like choosing underwear personal. You wouldn’t want to choose my underwear would you?

  38. Some people have no morals, and some people have questionable morals. I think we all have to decide of the definition of morals for ourselves. I mean seriously, can we follow books written by skitzo dead men, and let them tell us how to live? I mean come one. God/Goddess/Create/Evolution game us all a brain for a reason, we’re not suppose to share just one.

I smoke weed. all that matters are other people. nothing else. everything else is stupid. whatever. morals are for prudes. do unto others as you would have others do unto you. it’s as simple as that. fuck ’em all otherwise. if you don’t respect me then I won’t respect you. otherwise I’ll love you.
