  1. I am a mute. I can’t speak. Silent. Wishing I could talk. I have no clue what I am doing.

  2. What does it mean by mute? Am I supposed to mute myself? Is it asking me to mute my stereo or my neighbor? Or my neighbor’s dog? That would be a really neat muting exercise. If anyone could mute those dogs I’d love them. I have a mute button on my keyboard but I don’t think I’ve used it more than twice.

  11. it’s what i put the tv on when it’s late at night and i’m watching videos on my laptop. i hate it when it’s completely dark so i have to have some sort of light. i’ll put it on mute too whenever i’m on the phone with someone and it’s turned on. i often times mute my ipod when listening to it because i think someone

  15. no words just silence and the sound of nothing it can’t be so there must be notes tones and frequencies there always is and always will be maybe beyond our eyes our senses our understanding but the universe hears that which we don’t – can’t, won’t

  18. Not being able to speak was always hard for me. It was frustrating, when people couldn’t understand sign language out of my own community, so when I was shipped off to a place where everyone was the same, where no one could talk, I was excited at first. Everyone would be the same.

  19. People who cannot speak. The mute…they are probably the most intellectual people and we don’t know because we assume because they can’t speak, they aren’t intelligent. I imagine one who is mute to be incredibly insightful.

  26. a person who doesnt talk at all. sometimes its a youing cild who hasnt yet learned how to talk or may be a speeach hurt.. person or deaf person. also a hhandy thing on tvs and phones to either make ppl not be able to hear what is being said to the phone or to shut off all sound from the tv.

  40. this is what i’ve been doing to music a lot lately, it seems. I guess it’s good that I’ve stopped ignoring the people in my life…I was really good at that at one point – and I like it. Being social is freakin awesome.
