  4. i wish that people had mute buttons. i wish that i could un-mute the people who don’t or won’t talk to me. i wish that i could push a button that did the opposite of mute. sometimes i watch tv muted and imagine what’s happeneing, instead of succumbing to what is happening. where does the word mute originate? i would like to know. i get mad when i cannot find the mute button.

  7. She looked around as she walked into the classroom. Her eyes scanning the different bodies of her classmates. She was nervous. She silently walked around looking for a seat, sat in the very back and looked down. A boy near her saw her and walked up, “Hello, are you new?”

    As much as she wanted to answer, she couldn’t. She wished she could tell him she was mute.

  27. The word mute has a negative connotation, and it doesn’t deserve it. Sometimes, it’s good to be mute, because when one person is mute, another person has a chance to express their opinion. Maybe if we all tried being mute at some point in time, this world would be a better place.

I’m speaking of the kind of people who do not speak their truest mind. Let yourself go; there can only be good to come of speaking from the heart. Tell them you love them. Let them know they’re important.

  32. i wish i had such button with me for myself and people around. sometimes i feelt he need for one more than air to breathe. I can be a blabber mouth many a times, bit I know I talk sense unlike many I know who speak just coz they have been blessed with this thing called their “mouth” and they wanna use for something better other than just eating…
