myths are things that we’ve heard might be true, and reflect societies’ fears and hopes. Myths are often not true, but give us hints about what might have been or might be. Myths are often mysterious and have adventures in them.

there are myths all over this world, i wish i knew whether myths were true or whether my life was just some stupid myth, whehter love and friendships were just myths and whether myths will ever mean something to me. myth can be dragons and monsters too which are interesting as sad as it sounds, myths can mean anything and everything but myths are not real.

I’m pretty sure alot of things are myth. Greek myths are my favorite! I love them because they are different and not real. I love stories not of this world because this world is so horrible.

I loved the myth of nanotechnology able to heal people who have went through traumatic injuries back in the 21st Century. My grandfather would tell me them before nodding off to sleep.
Climbing into bed, I look into his warm eyes and genuine smile. He sat on the bed, taking a deep breath, and then with the energy of a 12-year-old would launch into his tell.

The myth of social order is that a person needs a government to parent them through the difficulties of life and it’s unpredictable turns. The real key here is the power of the individual to perceive the world as an experience unique to their own lives and make decisions accordingly, not as a puppet or a sheep to be led, but as a master and a creator of futures unwritten.

It is a myth that everything happens for a reason.
I have noticed that things tend to just happen because people make mistakes and tell lies or act weirdly–too clingy, too dumb, too loving. I have also noticed that these same people support the idea of fate. the fate paradigm.

The only myth that Donald could remember was the one about Icarus. Well, not the actual myth so much as the feel of the story, the impression that it left in his mind. The feel of heat against his face.

The myth of my life is something that never consumes the mind. What is that you say? It is nothing?! Nothing is something I feel for you, know of you, think of you. That is all I have to say to you. But to me, I must say that a myth is something I need to feel again. I need to know that this is not a myth and that I am capable of finding the truth inside my myth with you. I can’t wait, please come soon.

Myths are wonderful stories used by many cultures around the world. Typically they’re used to explain origin or to portray a lesson of virtues that are thought to be valuable at the time.

A myth. Everything is a myth… kinda. Once it’s labeled, it becomes a myth. A figment of our concious thoughts (unconcious?). Once the Doors of Perception are cleaned, everything appears infinite. So stop thinking.

Myth. What is a myth? How is a myth different from a legend? I remember learning about all of this during history, but after the exam, it was all forgotten. I don’t remember a thing about class except Ms. Aikin telling us about her husband. And brian. But that’s not a myth, it is?

So I was reading some myths the other day. They were pretty nifty, but I thought about who came up with them. Yeah, sure, it was the greeks or Romans or whoever, but were there individuals sitting down to think about it? Or was it like a committee? I am kinda curious.

A myth is an amazing thing. It’s like a regular story, but more epic, more awesome. A bunch of stuff is based on myths (bad grammar, sorry.) Like star wars is based on the Odyssey, and etc. Pretty cool, eh?

It’s all fake, it was all a lie. My life had been like a greek myth, all the stories people had told me about my past, present and future added up to make a satisfying moral, but it gave me a loose grasp on reality. I wandered the streets vaguely, searching for a character based in reality, not the stories I had been force fed my whole life.

I remember taking a class in university, about mythology and getting caught up in how amazing the stories were. We had Prometheus, the precursor for Christ. Stories from ancient Greek and Roman mythology inspired stories in the Bible. It’s all of one piece.
