  1. Today is the occasion we have all been waiting for. It is a non-occasion. It is taking today and making it a special day, even if it consists of sitting at home with your loved one, watching silly television shows and playing on the computer. It is a special day because you are together. Love the little moments and never wait to celebrate.

    Robert Allen
  5. Occasionally I see things. Scary things. I look in the mirror, and I don’t recognize the blond hookerish face looking back at me. I’m not a hooker, but I feel I look so cheap since I bleached my hair. I had better make this anonymous. I don’t want anyone I know knowing I dislike my hair so much.

  6. On one such occasion, he found that his trousers had turned into flames. He didn’t think much of this occurrence but when he related it to others, they thought it rather odd. Of course, he was just as baffled as referring to his “pants” as “trousers”.

  7. one word is almost nothing. Nothing is a word. What makes one word nothing? i dont know.. do you?

  8. “I only think of you on two occasions: that’s day and night.”

Oh, Babyface. Thanks for that song.

It’s true though. I only think of you on two occasions. And those two occasions occupy my entire day. I wonder what you’re doing. I wonder what you’re thinking. I wonder if you’re wearing your hair up or down. I wonder if you’re missing me like I’m missing you.

  9. i have a special occasion to talk about. it is my niece nicole’s wedding. it was a small wedding but elegant all the same. i was in charge of the wedding cake. it was three tiers but not in a traditional way. the tiers were left seperate. it ended up being very beautiful and i was given many compliments on it.

    Angela Davis
  10. Today is a special occasion. No it’s not really. It’s basically a normal day. Anything can be an occasion. Can anything not be an occasion? I suppose the answer to that question is no. Because every event must occur i nordre for it to be invested in our minds. Once something “occurs,” it is an occasion. Everything is an occasion. Yay.

  11. There is and there just plain isn’t. That’s why you have such a factor. As the incident happens before it even started leaving you to sit and wonder what went wrong. If it was cooler I wouldn’t be writing this.

  12. One thing she’s always been afraid of is parties. The sights, the smells, the peculiar way everyone will stare at her whenever she enters a room. On such occasions as these, she finds she’s a different person – no longer bubbly and charismatic, but mute, content to cradle the wine glass between her net of fingers and listen to what Dr. Smeath has to say about automobiles in prominent American history.

    Danielle C.
  13. Today was a momentous occasion. crapping is an occasion if you have a big crap eh? Every Day is really an occasion I guess?

  14. There is an occasion in my life when I thought I was surely going to be found out. It was the night I went alone to the lake gardens, in Taiping town. There beneath the giant trees . swaying in the night , there were prostitutes. They were beckoning me to come to them. And, I , moral and scared, became tempted. Why did I go? What was lacking in my Life? Love was not lacking, nor was compassion. But still

  15. an occasion is a party with a reason. the occasion to do something. I don’t even know what that means. but you know. or at least, you should know. but if you don’t, that’s okay too. because I don’t.

this is an occasion to write. like a stream of consciousness. but a quick one. and the bar of time is changing colors as it goes along.

  16. On occasion, I like to think of what it would be like if we could sit. just sit. and speak of all the things we knew the other wanted to do as well. speak all the things that we felt. speak of all the things we wanted to speak. On occasion, I wish i wasn’t his second best. I wish i was your best.

  17. On occasion, my friends like to pretend that we are really old. Not old and hunched over but old as in mature. It is pretty funny from time to time but really it ends up just scaring me because it reminds me that life really is short and we are going to be entering that stage of our lives before I know it.

  18. Oh what a lovely day for an occassion! What occassion? Any occassion will do.

  19. I think of a time that is special to me when I was able to prove something to others about who I am and what I stand for, where I was able to do something that made others proud of me. That is what I think about when I think of occasion.

    Eric Hartwig
  20. YOu would think that someone would consider this a special occasion. Not at all. Do not be fooled. We are done. This is it. Tomorrow is not a new day. It is a day of sorrow and despair. You’re gone. I’m gone. We are now one entity. A union. Marriage is not what you think it is. It is not what you want it to be.

  24. on one occassion I walked under a bridge charley.. a magical bridge filled with wonder and splinters and falling debri.. and a kayak corpse. I think I died. I am not sure though. It is hard to think when you are dead I think but thinking about that makes me think I may not be dead after all. That was a weird occassion.

  26. An occasion is an event, or something that is going on. It could be a feast, a party, a trip, I would think it would be a casual situation. It could be a meeting or lunch or dinner. It seems to be a simple event,

  27. It was a dark night for such a big event the men on stilts wore their head in the rain clouds and the shine from the ice sculpture was not as bright as I’d planned. But they still had fun. At least Tony did. His red face put the ice sculpture to shame in terms of shine and around midnight — four cocktails, six beers and a couple of Tequila shots in — it threatened to melt it to a puddle.

  28. the occasion was one to remember. My mother stood over the body of my aunt Renee. She had managed to clean most of the blood off the butcher’s knife but her lace apron would need to be dry cleaned. I looked at her.

    Dave Kennedy
  29. there was once an occasion where I got dressed up and had nowhere to go. It was weird. I didn’t do anything. i just sat and played video games. not that I actually play video games in real life, but you know, I’m supposed to write write write! And that was what I’m writing about. An occasion. is this what I’m supposed to be doing? Wasting this space on nothing? Or is it something? perhaps somewhere there is a psychologist who could chop up what I’m saying and spit at me the meanings of my meandering thoughts. Is that weird that I think of that? Because I don’t think so. I really really don’t. Wow. Sixty seconds takes longer than I thought. Perhaps I’ll write about another occasion. One time it was Christmas. I like taking Christmas pictures. Christmas pictures are neat. Especially when the whole family is at home … Oh. I just saw what that meant. The flashing bar thingy. I just took up longer than sixty seconds and didn’t realize it. Does this count, then, that I’m still writing, even though I know damn well that I was supposed to have stopped a long time ago?

  32. I rarely get the change to wear anything fancy for a formal occasion. Not that I really want to or pride myself on being any part of a formal occasion… but I would like others to see the girly side of me. It’s a rarity. The last time I went to a formal occasion was my sisters wedding back in 2002 when I was 18. I’m now 24. This is terrible.

  36. “On occasion, i run by your house, Maverick. On the weekends i watch you drink tea on your porch with your son and his rich hoity toity wife. I jog on by with a slight wave and just watch as you do not notice me. You do not recognize me at all. Hell, Maverick, we’ve never even met before. Consider this a hello and nice to meet you from a neighbor across town.” He folded the note, and slid it in between the newspaper and the bills and jogged away…

  37. it was an occasion for the ages. It was as though the lights were burning holes in the sky, with laughter setting the stage for more to come. Our cheerful host, the normally cantankerous old stoge Mr. Beverlie, was primed for the night of his life. And as the stars twinkled brighter with each burst of light we sent their way, we all realized that we were just as ready.

    John Chrostek
