  1. something that one is willing to give away to somebody else.

  2. Quite an offer if I’d ever heard one. Be a pity to turn it down. However, the question of happiness is certainly a valid one. And we are so young. There might be many others better suited, and even though we love deeply, it might not be enough it never is. But what can we do but leap? It’s my best shot.

  3. I had a job offer. It was for a groomer of cats. Who needs to groom cats? Don’t they groom themselves? Why would anyone attempt to even bathe a cat. It’s just a horrible scene. Have you ever had a dirty cat? If you have, you understand why you just don’t happily begin to wash a cat. You must wrap it in a towel, face it away from you, and wear several layers of clothing covering your arms.
Again, why groom a cat? Why?

  4. It was merely the offer of a lift home, but she read more into his eyes and refused gently on the grounds that she had arrived with her friend and she couldn’t be left alone. She allowed for another offer to be made, perhaps a meeting another day.

  5. I offered him my heart, my soul, everything. I know that I’m faulty, that I’m not the best out there, but I was good enough for two years wasn’t I? Why can’t I be good enough now? I love you dammit, and you’re not even aware of how things are for me! I wish that you could see what you do to me.

  6. She offered him the ring with a smile on her face. They were being bonded. Forever. Two rings seemed small to look at but they were a symbol of their future life.

  7. I like to give, it is best to offer when you have enough of something to do so. Sometimes it’s okay to go ahead and offer the whole thing. If you get an offer, it is not always worth taking, but you can always remember that at least it was offered.

  8. I offered myself to him fully. Sweat drenched our bodies, the heat filling us up. I loved the way he made me feel. Lord Voldemort was my mate, and tonight we would join.

  9. I offered him a lifetime of security, but he passed. He didn’t want what I had to offer, simply because he was “too traditional” for that kind of thing! I mean, I know that usually the man proposes to the woman, but I simply could not wait any longer; besides, he was poor, and I had enough money to take care of him. Why would he not accept my hand in marriage? Was it because I only loved him for his looks?

Simple, I said, just hold on to this package until someone asks for it.

But those were some good hot dogs.

  17. I have so much to offer you in the way of kindness and yet you return with only hate. Why not pause a moment, rest your high horse and come down to meet me eye to eye. You might find that we are not so different, or I might find that we do in fact face each other as enemies. I choose friend until proven foe.
