the boy in the oven didn’t like the fact that he was being baked, but spent his baking time living life and not worrying about the fact that he was being baked

i sighed as i pulled the oven door open. the pasteries were perfect, as always. i loved that feel of accomplishment every time something turns out right.

it is something that can be used to cook food, and more morbidly, kill yourself. the smell of fresh cookies or buns coming from an oven can define your childhood. one of the most important inventions-for me, because i love food.
John

I left the oven on last night after cooking dinner and this morning the kitchen was lovley and warm. Maybe I will dispense with the central heating from now on. Maybe not as well.

warm something sylvia plath stuck her head in. something that can cook things but requires a lot of energy and makes me think more and more about raw food and the power to reduce energy output on a global level through simply refusing to cook. refusing to cook is great for the body as well- let’s all the natural proteins and fiber shine through… mmmmmm… warm but superficially so.
Jessica
You can cook things and it is warm. I think of fresh hot cinnamon rolls and happiness

the brick oven consumed me in the house of the evil witch. the heat licked at my skin, my hair, my eyes. freedom whispered at me through the closed oven door.

Standing over the oven, she stood staring at the soup boiling and frothing. She had been doing this same routine for the past ten years. It was monotonous and she longed to break free… be herself… She wanted to go to school and be more then just a trophy wife. Her curled blonde hair and pale skin would get her far in this world, if only she had the courage to allow it.

I remember those hot summer days. Mom was gone by then, and Dad tried so hard to fill her shoes. The kitchen would smell of cookies or pie. Unfortunately, it wasn’t long before it smelled of smoke.

My heart feels like an warming oven: waiting for you to put whatever it is that you are willing to give to me inside. I will cook you. I will make you better.

The fireplace roared temptingly. He hadn’t eaten for days and there was already a cauldron placed above it, just asking to be loaded with food. A quick glance around told Xavier that there was food littering the cupboard and pantries. They wouldn’t notice if something was gone but still, he hesitated. Seraphine specifically told him not to be noticed and too much time loitering in one place could be fatal.

an oven is a place where i put poop in a coffee can….. it smells wicked bad, this is not advised for the average individual. It took me a long tome to spell individual just now, I’m thinking about getting smarter. However the time is almost up and im wondering what will happin with this little paragraph

Why do I think about someone sticking their head in the oven to kill themselves when I see that word? That is demented, right? Because someone should think of their grandma and baking cookies, or at least about the fact that I just made some garlic bread in the oven, which is still called an oven in England, but when I first saw the word I thought about Bang, Bang You’re Dead and the kid putting his head in the oven and saying this is what it would look like if I killed myself.

i miss cooking at home in my oven. the one we have here smells and takes much too long to preheat.

i use the oven to heat my home, i’d purposely put it on 500 degrees farinheit then when it’s done, i’d open it and half my house would be toasty warm after 20 minutes. also, it makes real good cookies and brownies. i also use those to heat my home

The oven burned in flames as the chicken laughed. I hate Sundays. They are the only days when I have enough money to buy a chicken for diner and something always goes wrong with the oven.

I have an oven in my kitchen that sucks. It doesn’t have a timer and the temperature gauge is off, so I am constantly checking to see whether or not my baked goods are burned. For some reason, I don’t think Betty Crocker would approve. Not that she would be impressed with my culinary skills in the first place…. I’m just saying, the oven doesn’t help my case.

Oven food. The only thing I can ever be bothered to make whilst being a student. And not being able to cook provides a pretty valid excuse to be lazy in the kitchen. Microwave food is awful though. I have limits. Every student does, as much as they hate to admit it.

chocolate chip cookies go in an oven. hansel and gretel have ovens, almost got pushed into one. mmmmm cookies and all other baked goods you put in in a oven. oven, oven, oven, oven,. yaahhhhhh
