  4. We all have something overhead most of the time. We have our roofs for the most part for protecting ourselves from the scorching rays of sun and during the night we sleep within our house, with roof overhead again to protect us from the cold.

  6. Overhead there were planes. I really like planes, I have good memories of going to airshows. They are always fun days. I went through a stage of wanting to be a pilot, but I always have silly ideas like that. I couldn’t be bothered spending another 5 years in school.

  9. Overhead, the heavens cried, large fat tears, salty and pure. They casually fell onto my face, cool and soft, running from the bridge of my forehead down the side of my nose. They almost looked like tears, but from happiness when coupled with my brilliant smile.

  27. Nothing overhead looked appetizing. Not the smoked duck or the dried salmon hanging from that waxy string. No, I could not even image eatiing anything that was suspended from the ceiling like that.

    But surely I was in the minority, for the shoppers around me obviously were well past any fear of eating dusty duck. God how long can that thing hang there an still be considered food.

    I was totally out of my league, gastronomically speaking. This was no where near what I expected. My image of the dried corn that my Grandad often had hanging on the back porch, after growing season, left me feeling a bit more sohpisticated than actually I am
