The palm of my hand is very wrinkly. I can see all kinds of lines going through it. I think one of them is called your heart line. It’s supposed to tell you how long you live. I was always freaked out, because mine, compared to everyone else’s, was always rather short. However, I think I’ve gotten over superstition. I do think I’ll have a short life, but I’ve come to terms with it.

my hand is very ugly, sweaty, retarded, gross, smelly*, shaky, fat (stressing this adjective), peachish colored, sick, unreadable

Yakima, “the palm springs of washington”. My buddy offered me a job there, a good job as far as business goes, but it also involves moving to yakima. Which, i don’t need to tell you, is not on my list of places to live before i die. In fact, it may be on the list of places people go after they die if they are bad during life…

i miss the palm trees in San Jose. Lingering over the sand and giving shade for me to sit under while I listen to the slapping of the waves on the shore. I won’t be home to see them for another whole month. I think they will survive without me – they have for centuries – but can I survive without them? I think not!

he stretched out his hand. his palm was sweaty, he was very nervous…then she took his hand in hers and let him lead her. He twirled her in his arms and danced the world away. There was nothing else on his mind, no one else in his eyes.

Noon. It was the summer of 1963. The start of what I thought would be just another summer’s day. I was sitting under the palm tree drinking lemonade, when suddenly, a crash.

a palm tells so much about a person. the lines can foretell a future, a past, and the present. A palm is the central force of a hand, and generates the most energy of all the body parts. perhaps this is why my entire body went numb when he grabbed my hand. the amount of love and attraction pouring from it almost paralyzed me.

The palm of my hand itches. I can’t remember what that portends. Does the right palm mean you will get money while the left palm means you will give it away? Or is it the other way around? In any case, I am sure I am going to be doing something involving money before the night is through.

a thing used to hold hands, show affection. Show love. They can show emotion too. Sweaty means they are nervous. Palms are the soul of the hand. They are touch, feeling.

Sometimes I spank with my palm. Palm trees fighting flamingo warriors. Some our ninja, the others eat palms. Plamato. Plamburger. What about the palm court. Who the hell came up with this word anyhow. It’s not like humans couldn’t live without their palm.

I can hear the palms complain from the screened porch. Their shadows lengthen on the lawn, under the cold light of the clouds. Now the thunder is the emptiest sound I hear, as it forewarns the hurricane. I take one look at the closed shutters, then venture indoors. The electricity is gone a while ago, but the coffee is still hot.

Tiny fingers, small little palm at the center. Soft and uncalloused. Smooth. Holding a microscopic world within it. Palm trees in the breeze.

in the palm of my hand was a giant bug that i could not describe. it had tentacles coming out of its body and teeth that looked like they came from a shark. this bug also had a giant tail with a stinger on the end of it and my guess was that it is poisonous beyond anything we have ever seen.

she held the note in the palm of her white pale shaking hands. It seemed to draw her eyes, made her emotions fade and rage in turns. The slight, slanting letters danced in front of her tear filled eyes. Little drops fell into her palm and onto the note.

I would like to get a palm tree for my living room that swayed in an unseen breeze, and would be reminiscent of Kauai, and would bring my mind to the sunset on the beach…is there a place where I can purchase such a palm?
Lisa S. Marshall
empty, timeless, agless. So many jounrey lines running back and forth a tale to be told for each one. Weathered and strong, tanned and pale, look at the lines look at the song. I read yours, I read mine I love the songs.

If you could hold the whole earth
In the very palm of your hand
Tell people who they’ll marry
Who they’ll hate and love
If you could change the position of the sun
Merely with a flick
What would you do?
The CEO of the universe.

Ah. I like the trees. They’re nice. I used to use the leaves when I wax a kid to make a fort on the jungle gym. Other than those palms. Your palms. I don’t really mind sweaty palms. I get them usually when playing video games or holding on the the computer mouse for a long time.

a palm is something on a tree and also the back/front of youre hand depending how you look at it. everyones palms are different. we can clap when we put both palms together :)

He placed in the outstretched palm of my hand, a small lily, just the flower.
So beautiful…
So simple…
“Thank you.” I murmurred.
“I Love you,” he relplied.
A painful moment of silence ensued…
I saw a look of terror begin to wipe across his face.
He didn’t know how hard this was for me…
I had not told him of my struggles…
Then a miracle occurred.
“I Love you too.”
The words escaped my mouth…
…and I knew they were true.

Palm Sunday, readings of palms, palm trees, when did the Palm become such a famous thing?
alisa haller
A palm is both a tree and the inner large area of your hand. Palmistry uses lines on the area of your hand to determine things about your life at the moment, in the past and possible futures.
The tree is known to grow only in tropical regions and is often associated with beaches.

the palm of my hand is unique to everyones palm. Nobody in the world has the same hand prints. i can slap people with the palm of my hand.

The palms of Christ’s hands were torn for my sin. My sin. My selfishness. My pride. My dishonesty. I think of the verse in Psalms where I am reminded that my name is written on the palms of His hands.

I put my palm to my face. My father was just so embarassing. His overly conservative values shouted out at innappropiate times would lead any stranger to think of him as a racist, biased pig. But I love him. I know I do. I do, right? So here I am, palm in face, wishing he wouldn’t say the things he says.

Lines as waves that your fingers surf over. The creases between the skin, and the patterns of youth, love and fortune trace over like an Irish knot. All of the sensory neurons just adore your skin cells, when you brush your hand over mine. They gather, they sting, they squeal with excitement and I say “Hush, hush, now. Hush, hush”. But they do it anyway. Your touch is like the feel of electricty, traveling through my spine and sending out messages throughout my body on how to react, they never get here fast enough. Now I know what he ment when he said “The two sides of my brain need to have a meeting”. The two sides of my brain need to have a meeting, yeah. Your fingers lace up in mind, and our palms kiss.
