  7. Colours. Art. Drawing. Pastels are so peaceful and seem to remind me of the sea for whatever reason. I love them a little bit. I love you a little bit. Pastels remind me of vogue last year when they were the colour to wear! I never did wear them. They seem sad to me. They are like a bright colour has faded and is now either mellow or sad. I love you. Bye.

  17. I think of easter, with my mother and sister and father, all together, making home videos. I’d make up songs about socks and eggs and everything I could see in the room while the video was being filmed. I had a yellow dress and white shiny shoes, white tights as well. My father was talking me through the songs and praising me every step of the way, and I was trying to hog the spotlight from my little sister. Now my parents are getting divorced.

  20. the pastel pink was the perfect color for her easter dress. it perfectly complemented the hints of red in her brunette hair and the velvet hat atop her hair. she smiled daintily as a child handed a small beautifully decorated easter egg. Oh, how nostalgic easter was. She remembered the last time she had been to such a glorious occasion such as this. But even so, he was still so miserable, never to be happy again. What was she doing wrong?

  26. My Easter outfit will soon be full of a pastel color explosion. High waisted shorts, a white blouse. I’ll be adorably decked out in floral. Also, ready for little cousin tackles plus drunk aunt catching.

  27. Nobody quite likes the same things i=I do. Everyone goes for the rich, seductive reds, or the regal, confident blue. Some, more daring than others, will veer towards the short, fully sequinned number.
I however, fall for the simple, knee length dress, the one that makes me nostalgic of windy days at the beach in summers past. With its dropped neckline and pale pastel hues, it’s beautiful. Just not in the way they would recognize,

  28. She discovered her favourite colour in that box, a turquoise that stained her fingers with velvety almosts, painting her world in a perfect balance between sea green and oceanspace.

  30. This seems like a happy word to me. I always think of bright colors…almost always Easter. It’s a word that conjurers up images of spring and flowers and grass. Lots of grass. I like pastel things. They’re fresh and new. I also think of paint, which brings me back to childhood, what with the days you would paint. I loved painting when I was little.

    Leila
  31. I love the pastel colors most. There’s something so calming, so beautiful about them. They remind me of English Rose gardens. The kind I use to visit with Nana, before she died. I don’t look at pastel paintings anymore.

  32. This reminds me of a color but I think it’s also something you write on or with. Like an oil pastel or some shit. Oh god I’m so bad at this I can’t beleive i got this word. Anything that has to do with art I just suck at. If it was a life or death situation, and I had to do art….I would die…..Yep I would die….

  34. colors that make me think of spring, love and something soft you can cuddle with, pastel blue pink and summery soft glue? where did that come from? pastels create the softest sunset and the softest dreams. 35. Subtle, I like the simple soft colors of pastel. They do not BEAT you over the head with their simplicity and loveliness. Sweet pastels for babies and older folks. Softness and roundness.

  36. and when the clouds unveil a sun brighter than that of winter they run like thirsty men to a river bleeding a blood unknown by all others a blood that’s pastel and thin covered in letters or little whales asking to be admired as well as to amuse they know not their place but they know their time

  37. Pastel is a color often used in clothing. The color the word is written in looks pretty pastel. It’s not a bad pastel, I just would never wear it. Probably. I don’t really like it because it’s super feminine and reminds me of sluts. But that’s just me.

  38. The colors of his life had always been vivid, deep reds and vibrant yellows. He didn’t know how to deal with David, who saw the world in soft pastels. Seth felt sorry for him, and sorrier still that David actually seemed to pity *him*.

  39. Pastel colors make me think of babies and of cuddly stuffed animals. I used to have a security blanket that was all of the colors of the rainbow in pastel shades. I lost it in Switzerland, though, which was very sad and tragic for me.

  40. Pastel. Color’s used for easter, and many other things such as children’s rooms and so totally over rated. They are never strong enough, and seem as thought they have been diluted with a dirty glass of milk.
