the colors around the lake, flashing, burning eyes and soft lips in the sun. kisses gently betray the dark waters surrounding.
the dresses swaying back and forth, pink lips on cool nights. chilled champagne and your voice hanging melody on the soft summer breeze.

My sister is going to have a baby and pastel colors will be nice for the babies room. I’m so excited I cant wait to get things for her and her baby I love him her all ready.

Oil drips down the page. Shit, I think. Ruined another one. I turn to the window and sigh. It’s raining; no respite outdoors.

Paper covers skin like pastel, pastels fading thin like a sin in my kin
Kippered or not it is pastel
colours fade like memories do, one thing I never forget is you my pastel

Pastel walls, padded walls, the chain severed, the cuffs taken off – a pastel hell. No view, not even of the bars in the courtyard. And no sound. Just a light avocado-green colour driving me mad.
Very Bland yet not dark colors. Somewhat happy, but very 60’s -esque. a time of oppression. So they look good, and blend well, but they signify something dark and oppressive. neat.
Sonny
warmth and feeling of home. feeling of spring and softness, a little unexciting, not decisive enough, a dream

I hate those colors…. to bland for me. I think you should be bold. Striking. I guess i’m thinking of the fashion part. Even the art supply isn’t a good medium.

clean and cream,
the coming of the spring.
soft and clear, like your baby blanket against bare skin
swathed in pale color,

The clouds faintly glowed; pastel in a daydream world. Pale greens mixed with baby blues, dotted with cream like a baby’s blanket. Pink swirled around the dull yet idealistic colours, reminiscent of a quieter time: one covered in the warmth of the blanket, safe in its folds and wrapped snugly in a dream.
[I don’t know what I’m talking about either.]

funny thing from my kindergarden.
Colors and images on the walls.
Growing old is looking at them as something you once used for shaping your imagination…

Her fingers deftly swirled the colors together on the paper, bringing shining gold skies and deep purple waves in the water to life. Small green blotches on the shore indicated trees, with their shadows hiding unknowns in the forest.
these are light colors like the way the sky looks when the sun is setting in Charlemont. how beautiful it is when the bell clangs in the mournful way that reminds me of Grandpa.
Pastels smell like wax, they cover your fingers in a way that is wonderful. they are messy

My mother wears pastel pants, pastel shirts. She has hair of a color not found in nature. The waists of her pants have those stretchy things. Is there a law that over 70 you must wear these things?
oil pastels are used in art classes around the world to create fluid, artistic and beautiful images. pastel may refer also to the texture of a colour and is frequently used in clothing manufacturing.

She woke to a pastel sky as she looked out across the water from her window. And all she could think of was, peace……

NOthing but some colour, light ones, bright and soft. Powder of them.

Pastel is for colors and you use it to scrape against paper and depict art and emotions more powerfully than color because the particles are heavier and stronger, letting you visually present life and dreams.

The children pranced across the pastel chalk hop scotch. Giddy with joy, their souls light with carelessness. I listened to their giggles float along the breeze. To be young and innocent. What a gift.
they glide so beautifully across paper canvases. they have a great, gritty texture that looks sensational, they are so creamy when they slide around the empty canvas

Light, airy colors. Inviting you into spring. From flowers to the sky. Easter dresses and children playing with sidewalk chalk.

Washed out. That’s how he saw pastel colours. They simply weren’t for him: he liked life painted loud and bright.

it’s like a faded version of a colour; a memory vanishing distantly with time, something you want to hold and keep and treasure forever but can’t. It’s beautiful, washed out and warm. Love it.
Lavenda
pastel is soft, pastel is spring, pastel is calm and soothing, safe and knowing. pastel is lambs springing and daffodils blooming. it is a time to appreciate and reflect.

Pastel colors remind me of the spring. Light, airy and beautiful. I feel like pastel colors are ethereal, magical and surreal. Yeah, that is how I feel.

So soft and light almost like Easter all over again hunting for eggs in a peach colored dress getting purple leftover dye on my hands and mud on my black dress shoes but nobody minded.

Easter? Spring-time? When is another time that you might come across or hear the word pastel? High-School art class with a bunch of stoners scribbling on a piece of paper with pastels?

It’s a really pretty colour, also the colour of my nails. Green pastel is gorgeous, the actual utensils really suck. I hate them a lot, so oily and smear so easily. We had to do so many projects with pastel and it was such an annoying thing. I wish I was artistic, I really did. Pastel is the most gorgeous, pastels are the most gorgeous media. If only I could master it and its colours. If only I could

Pastel was the sky. The bright fluffy colors swirled into the setting sun. Orange and pink, even purple, highlighted the cotton candy clouds. The sun set. All was black.
