  2. I loved walking on trails when my family went camping as I was growing up. The paths went deep into the forest, and there was always an unexpected turn that involved a small creek and a bridge or an opening in a group of fir trees that looked out onto the Puget Sound.

    Robert Downey
  3. path is the way to go it’s the thing that leads and feeds and you just sort of follow whatever you do don’t take the wrong one because honestly what are you supposed to do if you take the wrong exit wrong turn it’s just a counter-intuitive way of being smart and funny just like you principal told you at that graduation how you should take advantage of every path that’s given unto you and thou shalt always do the right thing and never ever falter at the the beginning of an ending and that’s why we do what we do.

    Michael LoJack

  6. I just wrote about the word “path”. People always write about paths. Path this and path that. All these overwrought metaphors pertaining to paths. Why don’t we just walk them? Or build them if that’s your career? Let’s stop writing about where we are going and instead write about where we’ve been? Stupid path metaphors.

  7. Every path has different shades. I’ve tried to categorize these as either black or white. But categorizations serve only to stumble the steps, simply walking is knowing. Simply going is understanding.

  8. The path I am in right now consists of compulsive gambling, music reviewing, drug detox and long-distance relationships. It’s fun but it’s very draining. I hope my “potential” in terms of brainpower is actually fulfilled when it comes to my own eventual path. It scares me to think that I might be stuck in mediocrity. I’m not even happy with a 6 figure income from poker.

  9. path is good. But beer is better, let me write about beer. Beer is this yellow (sort of) liquid that can taste pretty good. When people of all kinds drink to much beer they stop being able to be normal and become quite unusual. That is however well appreciated in many parties..

  14. Follow the path or create your own trail. It shouldn’t be a hard decision but sometimes making your own life can truly seem more daunting than it ought to be. Sometimes you’ll stumble, or get your hem caught in those prickly things that demand to come along, but that’s life. We’re different people. We will define our own path regardless of those that have been trekking forward long before we were even alive.

  22. she followed the path with loose abandon and wandering eyes. to the left, they’d dart to see all their eyes, daring her to come to them and beg forgiveness. to the right, they’d shift to see them, with leering smiles and thoughts of her spread legs. in front of her, they’d freeze to see him, his heart beating through his eyes and bleeding through his face in pure pain. behind her, her eyes never looked to see the mess she left behind.

  23. the path of wisdom leads to the palace of excess, or some such thing. wisdom and excess are one and the same. They feed off eachother. A wealth of knowledge is the same as a excess of experience. One leads into and thru the other. They are dynamic, and yet equal.

Which way, I wonder, would be the least
    Painful?

    Away from you,
Away from your face and your smile
    And all your hurt,
    Alone,

    Or with you and bleeding?

    Either way is broken glass
    A yellow brick path

But I don’t want to go home.
