  1. Pausing is a time for thinking. I’m pausing right now because I don’t know what to write about the word “pause”. It’s usually abrupt. It’s a time of reflection and analysis. Pausing can also stop a situation. Someone can manipulate a situation by pausing it.

  5. I pause. Take a moment to take one breathe and remember that now is all we have. This moment in time. The past is gone, the future isn’t here yet. Sounds simple, try it, it’s harder than you think. Once you master that, try turning off the endless loop of useless thoughts in your head. There is more information about the past that is gone and the future that hasn’t happened yet than there is awareness of the now. And that my friends is how you lose your car keys!

  6. if i take too long, i won’t get anything down. I can’t stop, even for a second, because my paws are starting to bleed and if I go any faster, I could do serious damage. I don’t want to wake up with a giant gash in my hand, again. Blood all over the blanket. It wasn’t fun. At least I made it to the bed.

  19. Pause for a minute and just think about what you are doing. What AM I doing? If I can pause life, rewind, there are so many things that wouldn’t have been. Too back there is no pause button for life. It just keeps playing and playing until the tape runs out.

  20. I stand here & pause as I try to think of something to type about the word pause. Some are uncomfortable with pauses, while others relish them. Are we uncomfortable with pauses in music? But many times conversations seem uncomfortable when pauses come, but maybe they are pauses to help us think deeper about what the other person has actually shared with us.
