  2. This is something that is used to start or push something. This is the thing that you have to push against so that you can start and move on. You use this to accelerate when you ride in a car, and that can be applied in life when you be the pedal.

  6. the pedal is on a bike, it makes the bike go. there area also petal pushers, but those are much like clam diggers, which i never understood the funny names. I like bikes, my boyfriend cant ride a bike, but i like him anyway. i was in Amsterdam and all they did was ride bikes, they are scary

  7. There are two pedals in my bicycle. Last week, one of those pedals started to make a strange knocking noise. I went to the bike shop and requested it be changed. There were only expensive pedals. I didn’t want to pay $20 for just a set of pedals, so I went to another shop.

  13. I biked a lot when I was a kid, I also biked for several miles in Talkeetna. My dad left the bike out of the shed here in Dutch, I was afrraid my mom would blame me for it, she probably did. But never said anything to me. It is interesting how you can change one letter in a word and it becomes something else, pedal to petal. medal, imagine that.

  15. i love pedaling down the street. i had a bicycle accident when i was younger. i crashed into my brother’s bicycle. i have a purple bike right now. the tire’s flat. ill need to inflate it asap so i can pedal all i want to. well, it’s too cold outside so i’ll wait til the spring.

  16. It happened a few years ago. I saw the man pushing a huge cart of broken goods down the streets of Viale di Trastevere in Rome. It was covered in duct tape, and the cars were slowing down behind him, trying ot pass his massive cart that took up most of the lane.

  22. When I think of pedals I think of bikes. But I guess I’m not supposed to be thinking. I guess I also think of petals, like on flowers, which gets me thinking about flower reproduction systems. You knows, stamen and junk. Then it makes me think about how little I payed attention in biology class. That class was hard, but my teacher was fun.

  25. I pressed the pedal down, and the car shot forward once the light changed. As I readjusted in my seat, a car pulled up. The driver signaling for me to roll down the window. Once I did, they motioned and yelled that my tail light was out. I yelled back a thank you and rolled it up.

  27. this could me a bike petal but i’m not sure. i am pretty sure that bike pedal is spelled that way instead of with a t which is a flower petal. it is five letters long. the word showed up in purple. i don’t exactly know what to write about…so i’ll wait for time to run out

  28. i like to pedal, reminds me of bikes. i suppose riding bikes as a kid. these days i just drive everywhere. it seems that i miss out on so much that i once experienced before within the journey of riding places. i wonder how much i have lost by the new convenience of a car

  30. My bike was on the path.I couldnt think of anywhere to go, but damn it i was going. My pedals were locked into the grooves of my shoes, and i was spinning them around faster than a wheel of fortune wheel. COOOOL RIGHT?

  33. one time i was riding my bike across a street on my way to school. since i was standing, and we bought the bike cheap from a yard sale, the pedal broke off and i fell on the hard ground. i had been wearing gloves that day. i ripped a hole in the gloves. i still use them today. and my hand is cold.

  35. i was riding my bicycle on a spring day in 1999; it was a gorgeous, sunny afternoon. live in a beverly hills, california, there weren’t many afternoons that weren’t sunny and gorgeous, but this one in particular was amazing.

  36. when i pedal on my bike I have races with my best friends when I was younger and then we almost run into the neighbors garage door and then get told on by the little neighbor girls flower pedals are also really pretty but I don’t know if it is spelled differently or not so oh well!

  39. I like to ride my bicycle and when i ride, I always have to push the pedals really hard. I have trouble riding up hills. I feel like the pedals will never turn over, but as I try, they do again and again.

  40. Tyres go round and round on bikes. Little kids ride bikes, they have to have small pedals because their feet are too smal;l for the big ones. Adults bikes have pedals too. You push them up and down with your feet and they make the tyres turn.
