  8. I once had a dog named Penny, who was notorious for jumping on the bed and growling at everyone on the days she got groomed. The bed was the one place she wasn’t supposed to be, but I think she just decided, “screw it” I’m going.

  19. A penny is about all i have now….well….I over exaggerate. You know pennies on the ground…i never pick them up. I have this feeling that they are covered in germs. Actually I don’t pick up any change…even quarters or half dollars from the ground for the same reason. When it comes to dollar bills though….then I weaken.

  21. A penny is a value to small for its own good. I’m pretty sure now the material is worth more than the value. They add up in weight, are heavy, bothersome, and rarely useful. I don’t love pennies, but a penny saved is a penny earned, and I do believe that. I guess it serves its function as an english expression. That’s all I have to say about pennies.

  27. So, I have a problem with my hair. The problem is, I like to pull it out one-by-one. My husband gets driven mad by it but I can’t seem to stop. It feels good but makes my hair look bad, or the lack thereof. I have a little bald spot that is embarassing but like I said, I can’t seem to stop.

  28. There is a photo of Abraham Lincoln on it. He was the 16th president of the United States. This coin cost only one cent. It is copper unlike all the other coins, which are silver in color. Whenever you find a penny heads up on the ground, it means good luck.

  29. penny. penny is the name of a cent in English. except at times it’s worth twice as much. Being English I like that! When i went to New York i spent lot’s of penny’s in forever 21. It’s also the name of the Irish Primark. it makes me think of penny farthings too. It’s funny to think of it as a special word. maybe i take it for granted?

    Copper is an awesome color. Especially if it’s on a car.
    If it’s on wood, then it’s bad luck if it’s the tails side..good luck if it’s the heads side. Pick it up and save it if it’s on the heads side! There was this one time where I was hoping for good luck and I found a penny!!

Pennies are made of copper, they are round, and worth one cent in the united states. but i am pretty sure the price of copper has risen, since the recession has started. so in reality, the penny would actually be worth more than one cent, if melted down, to its original state or copper. thats about all i have to say

  36. shiny copper emblem of the simple joys of childhood. I remember when a penny was something to play with, so many endless games you could play with just a penny or two. And now it is something to be saved and held onto, to fight for tooth and nail, as if my life depended on it’s miniscule monetary worth.

  40. i find these all the time and never pick them up. ususally because they are in gross positions in the world. someti9mes i want to but i rarley do. who really needs pennies anyway? id be fine with everyone rounding up to the nearest 5 cents.
