I think pills are absolutely disgusting. How hard it is to swallow those huge things? But still, I had to swallow one today at the doctor’s office, and it changed my life…

My pills contain vitamins, or supplements, if you prefer to call them. I probably would not take them if it was not for the fact that they are fundecd by my mother and she insists. There haven’t been any differences in my health since I started taking my little health pills, but it has only been a week.

I guess I would need some pills to end all the misery in my life. I don’t even need 60 seconds to think about it.

Pills, popping pills. A terrible fun addiction. Why is pills coloured purple? That being said, why is the time bar coloured green? It’s a rather terrible combination, wouldn’t you say? Ooh now its turning orange. I think that means I have to wrap it up. Wow it’s actually red.

Emerging from the mess of my bedroom, I padded quietly across the carpet to the front door. With one last glance at my apartment, I stumbled out the door, my pockets jangling. The street outside greeted me half-heartedly. The sky was grey and heavy-looking, which of course put me in good spirits.

I’ve been wanting to wean myself off of my pills for a while, now. They make me jittery, it’s unclear what other stuff they might be causing, and I’m curious after all of this time how my “natural” brain will be different. Will it work better or worse?

She lines them up in front of her plate before she does anything else, on a morning. It isn’t the first ritual: that’s the brushing of her teeth, the brushing of her hair, the sit-ups, dressing. But the pills come before anything else, the real business of life. Her mother comes in with the toast just as she’s finishing — her hair tousled, eyes sleepy: nothing like her.
She takes the pills one at a time, carefully. She picks up a pill, places it on her tongue, picks up the glass, takes a sip of water, puts the glass down and begins again. Eight pills, each morning. Four, around lunch. And then another eight at dinner.
She eats the toast, next, without any real appetite, but because she has to.
“Are you ready?” her mother asks, when she’s done. She’s already picked up her bag by that time, already heading for the door. “Don’t forget your pills!”
As if she would.

Difficult to swallow at times. People can be pills whose words and actions can be difficult to swallow and accept. Such pills are carcinogenic when absorbed into the bloodstream of human consciousness.

The pills. The pills. Where the hell were the pills? She panicked. What if her mother had found them? What would she say? What could she say? What would her mother do to her? She had no idea, but she decided she’d rather not find out. She started packing.

i took the pills in my shaking hands, holding them outstretched and expecting. I can’t stand the pain of this anymore. I need release. I need to find myself again. I want to be free of all this burden.

She looked at the pills by the bedside.
Every day, she had to eat two.
Two were supposed to cure her.
Two were supposed to slowly free her from the illness.
Two pills, that she had to swallow forcefully when others were enjoying their breakfasts.
With tears in her eyes, she grabbed the whole lot and swallowed them.

Hundreds of the little white wonders spilled out of the bottle, pills that could ease his aching head if only they worked. He swallowed a couple, dry. They etched a line down his esophagus, dissolving into particles somewhere over his trachea. He began to cough.

it was not the rattling that mattered or the dryness of mouth, but the colour of the pills I objected to. There were so many to take and they did not make sense. If crushed together, and that was forbidden, they would be a grey sludge at the bottom of the jar

every day for waking, sleeping, playing, loving, helping. take pills to stop caring, take pills to care more. take pills to love yourself, take pills to be strong, take pills to stop eating. pills for poor people, pills for the wealthy. pills are delicious, pills are healthy..

He took the pills from the packet. One red one blue. which would he choose. Each led in a different direction, a different end point. he looked from one to the other unable to decide.

He stumbled as he groped his way through the darkness of the alleyway.
It hurts. It hurts it hurts ithurtsihurtsITHURTS.
He fell. tripped. Blood trickled down his side as he fumbled for the plastic bottle in his pocket, shaking, shuddering, he opened the cap only to fall upon the ground, before a shower of a hundred tiny blue tablets fell on top of him.

She shook the bottle in front of im, one eye curved into an upside down U as she said, “would you like some?”
He nodded frantically, grabbing at the little bottle she had stolen from the table when their mother wasn’t looking. She held it up higher, a cough sounded from the other room.
“Come on…”
Who said that?
Another cough, something crashed, someone turned, and then the cascading echo of pills dropping like raindrops.

Pills can be good or bad. My roommate is so addicted to sleeping pills that she can’t get to sleep without them. Her grandmother takes a million pills a day just to survive, because she has so many heart issues and she’s diabetic. I used to take birth control pills, but they don’t really do much good if you don’t remember to take them at the right time every day.

Pill are a tool used to make someone more or less awesome. By putting pills in ones mouth, one suddenly can get 1/4 different powers. Either 1, flight. 2, extra hands. 3, juice. Or 4, more pills. This is why pills have been so popular from the years 1994-2009.
