“the world is my playground” i heard this thug-life dialogue somewhere maybe anime or maybe surprisingly from literature. whereever it is from, i can only imagine the attitude of the character who would say this dialogue. i imagine that person to be a cunning person – perhaps a villain or an anti-hero seeking revenge against world or even an optimistic hero ready to conquer an adventure! who do you think would be saying this? tell me your story!

When it was completed, the funders of the playground gave a big party to congratulate themselves. “Your children will have a place to play and the adults can sit on the benches to watch the children and socialize.” Once the party was cleaned up, the children went back to working in the fields and the mothers hung their washing to dry on the swings and benches.
Our hands would burn, knees bleed, splinters plucked from tender skin. But none of it mattered, for it was a freedom unlike anything else.
