What an odd word. To ponder. Not to think, not ruminate, but to ponder. It has the word pond in it. Like still water, meditative. To ponder is to think without judgment. To think without negativity or positivity. To ponder is: to think like a pond. Simple.

To think about, and wonder what it really means. What I am doing now. Exploring more than the definition, but the true meaning and what it could be. Form ideas.

I ponder the meaning of life. I think it has to do with laughter. And loving people. I ponder on matters such as why things are the way the are. But I don’t do this as frequently as others. Ponder is an odd sort of a word. Almost too fancy for me to use without feeling subconscious. I’d like to use it, but it feels somehow pretentious.
