  6. the movie powder freaked me out because the tv commercials portrayed him as a freak. crack cocaine is a big problem in the world today and not to mention i also got freaked out every time a woman would “powder her nose” it just seems like it can’t be very healthy to be “powdering yourself”

  8. power is well I just mispelled it and I didn’t spell that correct either anyway when Powder is said I instantly think of something but really I just need to find things to say before that green little bar moves all the way over now it is turning a different color any ways off subject powder makes me think of flower and in the stuff you cook with.. probably incorrectly spelled that too.

  12. baby powder has that unique smell that is really soothing, and clean. it makes me think of clean things all the time, or babie’s getting their asses smacked by doctor’s or wet nurses or something of that nature. I don’t have any baby powder, but i do have johnson & Johnson’s baby shampoo in my shower right now. I’ve used it, and i think it’s easy on my hair, but doesn’t clean as well as i’d like it to. so i don’t think i’ll buy it again. but maybe i should buy some baby powder.
i just noticed my word was powder, not “baby powder”

    oops.

  16. powder is solid matter in its finest form. It has been ground down omehow. It can suggest something innocent like icing sugar or something sinister like cocaine. In the eighteenth and nineteenth century it was common for people to wear it on their faces – both men and women.

  19. In the few fleeting instants after the grenade bursts the world becomes two things: entirely silent and mystically cloud-like. When he regains control of his lungs (though not quite yet his ears) a sharp breath betrays the source of the fog, and dust and dirt emulsify with his saliva.

  24. The powder on the table was as white as snow. The group of teenagers stared blankly at it- how had they ended up there? Just on the whim of youth defiance? Wanting to be rebels without a cause? Regardless of the reason, they were there- and they were in over their heads.

  29. Saturday. Twelve inches of fresh powder and a sometimes best friend with sungoggles and a wobble in her snowboard. I ski faster than she, and leave her eating the snow in my wake. I ditch her and ride the lift alone: Black diamonds and blue distant mountains, rare stars and darkness with red warning sky too far away for my care. We take pictures, but nothing lasts longer than memories (jagged forest, swerving, and tears frozen solid)
