  6. Is my orbit of the display noticeable? It is such a beautiful necklace, it would be a shame for it to never be worn just because it’s too expensive. I pretend to look at other things while my thoughts whirl closer and closer to my little plan. I ask a sales associate to take it out of the case for me.

  7. If it seems pricey and you want it then you need to ask yourself two questions about it. First, is the item good quality? You get what you pay for so make sure you are not paying for something you are not getting. Second, is it rare? Scarcity is the other constant by which value can be firmly established. If the thing you want is not of exceptional quality or rarity then it should not be pricey. You have the money so you have the power.

  9. i just paid over $20 for CPAP water cuz i am lazy and entitled and want to save space in our packing dammit i don’t care i pay for convenience, pricey water for sure but i love those little blue bottles, haha love how they talk about the “dirty gallons” on the ad. but you know what, i am glad i did.

  11. she examined the vegetables. they were very pricey. the cost of groceries had risen dramatically since the war, since the cities had been cut off from the agricultural lands. now everything that wasn’t dandelion greens and potatoes grown in empty parking lots cost as much as gold.

    Wouldn’t she end up selling her body? Wouldn’t opportunists think her body was for sale? Might some of them try to get it for free, any which way they could?

    What a horrible choice for a girl’s name.

    ‘They were too pricey this year.’ It was inevitable that my frugality would turn around and bite me, Every year I said I would look in the end of season sales and by then it was warm and I wouldn’t spend the money.

  17. I think cars cost too much. Houses are the standard that we need to live. They are roots, trees, paper, toothpicks, oil, dirt, sand. And yet that is where so much of our funds go to. Travel costs way to much in this global world.
